Y/n's POV

I lay beside Newt yet again on the floor. "Yano Y/n, you're just so perfect. In every single way. Your eyes your hair, all of you is so so perfect. The way you drop everything to save your friends, the way you work hard and how happy to make me and everyone around us. You are perfect." He whispered. "If you think I'm perfect you should see you, your big brown eyes, your hair every little thing about you is so super perfect Newt and I'll never let you forget that." I whispered back smiling before I kissed him. God I love him. "Whadda ya say we get Fry to step in and go stargazing hm?" Newt asked knowing damn well I looove stargazing. "I like the sound of that." I smiled back before putting his hoodie and pants on. "My mini me." He whispered hugging me. Fry ran in. "Soo guys I've noticed you two haven't had a nice lil picnic date in a while and uh I really wanna babysit soooo I set up something for you on the watch tower off you go shoo." He whispered ushering us out the door. Can this dude read minds? Newt dragged me to the watch tower and when we went up Fry had put a blanket down, with snacks and drinks all around it. "He's amazing." Newt scoffed. "Definitely a mind reader." I laughed. We sat there stargazing and eating some food before Newt got tired. "Tired blondie?" I asked. "Oh shush I could go for a run right now." He laughed back. We sat there for another while in silence, just enjoying each other's company. When I seen a shooting star. "LOOK!" I yelled pointing to it. "Woah" Newt said in awe. Then it started raining. We gathered everything up and ran back to our hut. Fry was sitting there with Hazel in his arms. She was wide awake too just smiling and giggling at him. Newt and I were drenched. "Ah shuck it rained?" He asked. "Yup." I giggled. I dropped everything and ran out the door. "What are you doing?" Newt asked before I started dancing around. He laughed at me and came to join me. He kissed me in the rain then we noticed Gally taking a picture. Before the thunder happened. I looked at Newt already freaked out then the lighting and more thunder. Newt brought me into the hut and Fry left. Newt stayed up with me until the Storm died down and he fell asleep. I being me, stayed awake until the twins woke and then knew I'd be up for the day. Something I didn't mind as I do it often. Newt slept through most of the day while I cared for the kids and did some work in the gardens. With everyones pets being well trained I resumed my job as a trackhoe and was doing well. Storm and Ghost had the twins on their backs and were bringing them around the glade to keep them occupied while I worked. "Y/n please- I promise I just want to talk." I heard Minho. "No thanks She isn't interested." Zart piped up. I stayed quiet. "This doesn't concern you, I wanna talk to her I have to." He replied. "No thank you I am not interested." I replied. "Please?" He begged. He was crying now. "So talk. Doesn't mean I'll listen." I spat. "Look, I'm sorry for everything with Paige. She had me wrapped around her finger and I only seen her as good- so I didn't really think she could do it until I realised how much of a shank she really was and by then it was too late. I just I was so convinced she was a good person that I didn't want to believe it because yano I loved her Y/n. Just like you love Newt. But now I hate her and I'm happy she's gone because she almost killed an innocent perfect little girl." He rambled. "Give me some time to think Minho." I replied trying not to cry. Seeing him so sad and hurt killed me. I hate seeing him like this but he needs to understand that he was wrong. I went back to the hut with Ghost, Storm and the kids in tow. "Good morning sleepy head" I smiled to Newt. "Evening" he chuckled. "Don't bother with work, it's all done." I smiled putting the kids down for their nap. "You did mine and yours?" He asked astonished. "Yup" I smiled. "How long have you been awake?" He asked. "Since uhhhh what time did we get up at yesterday?" I asked. "Y/nnnn noo you were supposed to go asleep." He whined before hugging me. "I know but as I went to fall asleep the twins woke up." I giggled into the hug. "Fine. But you're going asleep tonight." He said sternly. "Yes sir." I smiled back. He picked me up and we lay in the bed for a while just talking. He was playing with my hair the whole time and humming if he wasn't talking. God he's amazing.
