Y/n's POV

"Y/N!" Gally yelled. I got up and walked to him. "Yeah?" I asked. "Ghost is chasing Minho." He murmured. I whistled and Ghost came over to me. "C'mon Ghosty, he's not worth the effort." I mumbled to him. "Thanks gal." I smiled. "You look exhausted Y/n." Gally told me his head tilting a little. "Yeah, didn't sleep last night." I smiled. "Oh c'mon Y/n, you need sleep to function." He sighed. "I know I know but I couldn't sleep." I replied. "You better sleep tonight." He told me. "I will I promise." I replied. I walked back to my hut with Ghost in tow. "Everything alright?" Newt asked. "Ghost was chasing Minho again." I chuckled. "Atta boy Ghost." Newt smiled. "Speaking of, he came over today while I was working and said all this klunk about Paige having him wrapped his finger and he couldn't see the bad she'd done and he was sorry. He was crying and everything." I told Newt. "Couldn't see the bad in her my back side. He knew she left Hazel go to the lake." Newt growled. "I know he did don't worry." I replied before laying down. "I'll never forgive him Y/n. Never ever. I don't care how sorry he is. He backed Paige up after she tried to kill our child and I hate him." Newt told me. "Don't worry Newt I'll never forgive him. I hate him so much." I replied before stretching and laying on top of Newt. He kissed my head. "My beautiful girl. All mine." He mumbled with a smirk I knew was pride. "God I love you." I smiled before kissing him. The kids then woke up and Hazel immediately called for Newt as Jasper called for me. We got up and got them. Jasper must've had a bad dream because he was trembling. He clung to me for hours. I swayed around with him in my arms singing to him. Newt just watched as Hazel cuddled into him. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. And no one will take my baby away." I sang. "You changed the words." Newt smiled. "Just for them." I replied before I continued to sing to Jasper in an attempt to calm him. "Monster." He said gently looking to the door. I wanted to find out what was a monster so I walked out the door with him. He wanted down so I put him down and he grabbed my hand and pulled me toward Minho's hut. "Monster." He mumbled before crying. Minho walked out and Jasper panicked as he pulled at me to get up. "What's up little man?" Minho asked. Jasper screamed and was sobbing. "Is he okay?" Minho asked. "He led me to you repeating one word. Monster. He had a dream about you. He is petrified of you." I told him before walking away as I started sobbing. "Hey hey what happened baby?" Newt asked. "He led me to Minho just saying monster. And when Minho came out he was screaming and crying begging me to leave. He's scared of him." I sobbed cuddling into Jasper. "Oh baby. God that must've been so upsetting." Newt mumbled coming over to me and hugging me and Jasper. I started singing to him again. He calmed quickly but I was still crying. "No cry Mom no cry." He begged. "I'm sorry buddy" I smiled through tears. Storm came over and nuzzled into me before licking my cheek. Majesty came and jumped onto my shoulder before brushing her cheek off mine. And Newt, he sat there playing with my hair knowing it calms me. I calmed down and Jasper looked me dead in the eyes. "I wove you" he told me before kissing my nose just like Newt does. "I love you too Jas." I smiled back. Newt just smiled and continued playing with my hair. Jasper and Hazel fell asleep at around 8 and I lay in bed beside Newt. We heard a knock on the door. I went and opened it. Minho. "No way in hell" Newt growled. "He- he thinks of me as a monster?" Minho asked tears streaming down his face. "Yes. He had a nightmare about you and no doubt Paige was in it. He's had them often since what happened with Hazel. Now leave. If my kid wakes up and sees you he's gonna freak out and I can't bear seeing him so sad." I told Minho closing the door in his face. I went back to Newt and he pulled me on top of him cuddling into me. "You're such an amazing mother princess, you know that right?" He asked. "And you, you're a phenomenal father Newton. Always have been and always will be. I say it a lot but I say it because I mean it with every tiny ounce of my body heat and soul. I LOVE you till the end of the line and after." I told him. "God Y/n, I love you so much you don't understand. If you ever died I don't think I'd ever be able to live without you. I'm not me without you. Without you I'm nothing but a lonely shank. You came up and my life immediately changed for better. You SAVED me. More times than you know. God I love you so much and I always will no matter what. You. are. perfect." Newt told me. I looked at him. "I wish I could find the words to tell you how much I loved you. But I don't think there's a word for that. It's too much to be able to put into words." I told him. "Just you being here makes me feel so unbelievably loved." He smiled back. I love this man so damn much.
