Our marching season officially ended last night. We're fully into concert season now, and I just know I'm going to dislike it....
There have been so many people that just blatantly disrespect me as a person and a drum major, but they'll listen to the other drum major. I'm freaking fed up with it, and it's not going to change in concert season. I'll just get completely disrespected in a different way! I'm so excited (note the sarcasm).
Never in my life have I actually considered quitting band before (and jazz band isn't helping)....I'm not going to, but this has literally been the second worst year of marching band (my 8th grade year was the worst); they might actually be tied by the end of the year. Idk anymore.
I don't really think the director would let me switch sections or anything either even though I'm able to playing-wise. I mean, I've been learning trombone so....
