"Witches!!! Burn them to the stake!!! Their men will murder and rape
out children!!!"

"But, father... He's not like them... None of them are!!"

"I confess... I confess!!! I too walked with the devil. I lay with him... I bewitched your pastors. And I bewitched Ingrid Blaustein's niece. I clouded her mind. It was me. It was always me..."

"The truth will come out. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But it will. The truth shall be your curse for what you've done to them. It will follow you for eternity. I will shadow you forever. I will show them what you've done. I will never let you go."

Meritha was not a Gold or a Blaustein, but a Marine. Nobody knew her family name as they had come from a poor family and often struggled to survive every winter, their family getting smaller and smaller by the year. No, it wasn't until she and her family moved to New York for better weather to grow their crops and make a new living. They were always outcasted from everyone, specifically the Golds. Calling them names such as "immigrant aliens". Despite their harsh name-calling, Meritha and her family continued to keep to themselves. It wasn't until Meritha had befriended a witch from the Blaustein family that things took a turn. Despite how poorly the magical family was treated, Meritha gave them her respect and kindness even though her parents told her to stay away. It wasn't long until she found herself falling in love with whom she called "her angel of darkness". As time grew and the town became more ruthless with the Blausteins, Meritha began to worry for her angel and as a result, began snooping around thee Gold's territory to find out the truth. But of course, before she could reveal it to the world, it was too late. It's unknown why Meritha did what she did next. Perhaps she was caught and threatened, but regardless, in order to possibly help save the Blaustein name from extinction, Meritha took the blame for everything. For admitting to her "crimes", Meritha was chained to where she couldn't move her arms and hung on an oak tree. These were her last words to the public: "I confess... I confess!!! I too walked with the devil. I lay with him... I bewitched your pastors. And I bewitched Ingrid Blaustein's niece. I clouded her mind. It was me. It was always me..." She later swore to haunt and torment the Gold family with karma until the truth for what they did to the Blaustein's were out. Whether it meant making it harder for them to make money or even killing them, she refused to move on to the afterlife. Linda is her reincarnated form and ancestor. And she too vowes to never let them go and take away everything they created.

Oh, miss Delphia. A true heartbreaker with a face as white as snow and a heart blacker than the night sky. To the public, Delphia was kept to herself. She didn't want to marry, nor did she want children. She spent most of her life with her face buried into books, wishing she could go to the places her stories settings took place. It wasn't until she met a boy from the Blaustein family that made her dreams come true. Her father told her stories about the family and what they would do to people, but in all honesty, she found his stories to be foolish and unrealistic. In her mind, magic only existed if one's imagination was powerful enough to make it a reality. But upon meeting the boy, she would be proven wrong. It was the boy's magic that made her fall hard for him. He was crazy and different, and she admired that. She would sneak out late at night just in her sleep gown to go meet the boy in forests at night to fall asleep in his arms. Though of course, every fairytale has to end when one down the brunette found out her life was slowly being drained away by Typhus. Despite her disease, she continued to meet the magical boy in private until one day she suggested they show up together in public. She was tired of having to hide their feelings. In her mind, if they were shown happily together, why should that be a bad thing?? Delphia denied all rumors of being under the boy's spell, but they didn't listen. Only pitying her or running away due to thinking she had gone crazy. But one day, a day Delphia swore to be worse of her life, was the day her love had been taken from her. She fell to her knees and cried her heart out. She cried all day and all night as she fell into a deep depression. She barely even cared to take care of her disease anymore until she thought enough was enough. It would be just a week after her love had died that she decided she couldn't live without him where one morning, her twin sister would find a chair knocked over and the sight of her body hanging from the ceiling. She now wanders the world in search of her love's soul and now guides the daughters of her bloodline to find their true love as well. Including, being the ancestor of Miana.

Matilda ran one of the most profit-selling dresses for women in the early 19th century. Unlike her identical twin, Delphia, she didn't spend her life reading books. Oh, no. Every woman you would see passing down the road with a silk dress on was crafted from her hands. Though of course, despite her success in making money she didn't exactly have the happiest life. Pregnant at 13 and 15 and having to marry a man she didn't love, Matilda struggled with living a healthy life. Her husband often cheated on her and would always beat her if he so much as saw her looking at another man, even if she wasn't and she just happened to be looking in his direction. Her sewing and her children were the only ones that kept her going in life. And of course, her sister. Whom she often worried about when finding out she had taken an interest in a Blaustein. Now, she wasn't exactly fond of them, but she didn't disrespect them. She kept her distance, but when finding out about her sister's little affair that made it almost impossible. When the boy had died, Matilda tried her best to comfort her sister. But it was too late. In the house Delphlia had hung herself in, it is said that those who live in it today can hear the sounds of a young woman screaming and crying in one of the bedrooms. These cries, coming from the soul of Matilda. She is Merissa's ancestor.
