"You only called me once!!" Mia ranted.
"Sorry. I need to shop for a dress to wear to Aunt Nikki's wedding." I said.
"You look pale. Are you okay?" She asked.
"Sure. I just...... Do you think I should wear pink?" I asked her.
"White would be appropriate. You look dazzling in white." She winked.
"Thanks." I said.
"So, why are you listening to Hello? I thought you've forgotten about Adele for now?" She asked.
"To think i love the song, but now I understand it." I replied.
"You know what they say, when you are happy, you enjoy the song. When you are sad, you understand it." She said. I nod.
"Can i help?" She asked.
"It's nothing." I replied. She smiled.
"Well, let's go then. Come on, come on." She said.
"Can't i just shop from home? I'm weak." I said. Physically, emotionally, mentally. Even spiritually.
"What's the fun in that?" She asked.
"Okay, just surprise me." I said.
"Fine. You wear anything I choose. Deal?" She asked.
"Deal." I said.
"No sequins." I said.
"But why?" She whined.
"Nothing flashy." I said.
"Noooo!" She said dramatically.
"Nothing big, or with hats. I hate hats." I said.
"Fashion disaster!!" She cried.
"Come on, i know you can find something for me." I said.
"Who died in here?" I heard Cin's voice. She came in wearing black shorts, black ripped leggings, black singlet and black lace crop top. And of course combat boots.
"Where have you been?" I asked her.
"Hanging out with Goldie." She replied.
"Oh okay. How is her revenge coming up?" I asked.
"Well. She has some ideas." She replied.
"By the way, Have you met Jace's friend? Michal? She's so cool." She said.
"Yeah. Were they hanging out today?" I asked her.
"Nope. I met them at this movie theatre." She shrug.
"Wait, Jace went on a date with another girl?" Mia asked.
"No, they didn't even share a popcorn or something. It looked platonic to me. You know i would've told you if something was up." Cin replied.
This is making me feel more guilty.
"How does she look like?" Mia asked.
"She's ......... normal. A combat boots lover like me. So, she's cool." Cin said and took off her boots.
"We all ate afterwards. She can also ride a motorbike." Cin said.
"You all ate together?" I asked.
"Yeah, then we went our separate ways. She left first though. Said she had boring stuff to do at home. Then Jace gave me a ride home. And that's all." She said.
