Aidan's P.O.V.
Our peaceful, delightful, fun mini get away came to an end as we are now back in London in our home, having a visit to James's clinic to get Elodie's teeth checked up on agenda before all of us head to a family dinner.
Though, we have 3 hours to spare, time that we gladly put into a game time to unwind and simply enjoy our bubble. Blue is peacefully napping next to a fireplace and we are playing a board-game, which we got in Edinburgh: there is a map, 5 figures for players, figures of various animals and decor, dice and lots, lots of cards with different questions about nature, science, history, geography, culture and other spheres with answers noted on cards. You throw the dice, which has spheres marked on it. If you answer correctly, you get money and can create a zoo of your own on your side of the map, that is divided in 5 parts. To say the least, the map is huge. It is really intellectual and fun game.
"Mummy, what is the largest planet in the solar system?"- read a question Elodie, smiling preciously.
"Jupiter."- answered surely my beloved with a heavenly smile, being nuzzled into me as the three of us are on the fluffy rug next to a fireplace, warm and snug with hot chocolate to sweeten our bubble.
"Correct, mummy."- chirped joyfully Elodie, pouting 20 game-dollars before giving them to her happily.
Next up was our little daughter. She took the small dice and threw it, getting flora sphere.
"What is the fastest growing plant, sweetie?"- asked I warmly as we couldn't help our euphoric smiles at the sight of bright, enchanting twinkles in her big, gorgeous, angelic, caramel-brown eyes.
"Bamboo. It can grow 35 inches a day."- replied confidently little princess, smiling winsomely.
"When I was with mummy in her previous home and you were on a business trip, we read about pandas and this information was mentioned."- said preciously Elodie, having no idea how proud and content it makes us that she is so eager to absorb new data, remembers information so effortlessly and enjoys reading and learning.
We happily played the game, creating our own zoos until the space was filled and it was time to have lunch.
"I don't want to eat."- murmured sadly Elodie, nuzzling into us, hiding in our arms, and we sighed heavily.
Her tooth still hurts. We gave her Ibuprofen for kids twice in the span of 2 days, we don't want to give her any more medicine. The cream clearly doesn't help much as it soothed her only for the night, mere 6 hours at that. It hurts her to eat; we gave her only soft food, but still it is not utterly comfortable for our girl.
We worry, of course we do. Elodie weights 13 kilograms with wholesome, nutritious, clean diet and occasion sweets and desserts that we never limit her in. She barely ate in those 2 days, we don't want her to lose weight and with how hyper and active she is, there is a grand chance of that.
"For daddy, Blue and me, alright, sugar bear?"- spoke softly Charlotte as I gently tucked a strand of our daughter's silky, chocolate brown hair behind her ear.
"Okie-doki."- agreed sweetly Elodie, nuzzling her small, comely face in my palm.
I kissed her forehead, chuckling when our tiny koala clung to me swiftly, giggling melodically. I gladly scooped her up in my arms and helped my stunning fiancée to stand up before we went to the kitchen.
"How about you make your own purée, honey?"- I offered her happily, smiling as it got her interest and heightened her desire to eat.
"Yes, please."- chirped our baby girl as I sat her on the island.
