Charlotte's P.O.V.

"Mummy, look how cute this parrot is!"- chirped Elodie, beaming with joy while gazing at the big, stunning Macaw parrot.

"It is very cute, sugar bear."- I replied with a giggle, smiling when my husband hugged me from behind lovingly, kissing my cheek sweetly.

A week passed by heavenly.

I am 34 weeks pregnant and we are now only mere weeks away from meeting our second little daughter. All of us are more excited than ever because it finally settled in: our family of four, the gorgeous nursery is fully ready, my hospital bag is always with us and our jellybean is super active, she kicks and moves 24/7 now.

Aidan and I made this week all about Elodie, wanting to give her as much time with us as possible because once our second girl arrives, such things will be a tiny bit postponed: we will be very busy with getting to know our jellybean and we don't know how long I and our small girl will have to stay in the hospital. Even though we know that El won't be jealous or upset if we spend a bit extra time with our little daughter, she even said she wants to help us to look after our jellybean, we still want her to know that she is our everything and we love her as much as our second girl.

So, from Monday till Thursday we took Elodie to the cinema, Coram Fields, play centres, Sky Park and aquapark, the three of us went roller-skating, shopping and bowling together. Every evening we go for walks together with Blue, making it a lovely bonding time for all of us. We also play lots of games together at home and had a few picnics in our garden when the weather was nice and warm.

Today it's Friday and we are in a zoo for a visit and an exhibition on parrots. Today is also the day of a charity ball, which my husband is organising.

"I wonder how much this sweetie weighs."- wondered Elodie winsomely, standing on her tippy-toes to read the information board about this parrot.

"1 kilogram and 700 grams."- chirped our baby girl, smiling at us when she found the information out.

We strolled around mellowly, chatting and enjoying our family time while admiring the breathtaking creatures.

Once we saw all 20 parrots, Elodie asked for one more stroll around the zoo and we gladly agreed, the happiest to see her so joyful and excited.

"I am hungry."- I murmured, pecking his plump lips as he hugged me, holding me in his muscular, sinfully attractive arms.

"What would you like, my darling?"- wondered my beloved man lovingly, kissing my forehead as I pouted, unable to come up with exactly what I want.

"I want something sugary so badly."- I said needfully with a pout that he kissed adoringly, smiling charmingly at me.

"How about a chocolate croissant, my beautiful angel? Or ice cream?"- he offered and that was all it took for me to smile.

"Both, please."- I replied delighted, already imagining that sweetness and that chocolate.

"Deal, baby."- chuckled Aidan raspingly and I kissed him fondly.

"Will you eat with me, please?"- I wondered with puppy eyes, pecking his forehead tenderly.

"Absolutely, my beloved princess."- he responded contentedly, erasing my pout, making me smile brightly instead.

"Sweetheart, would you like any snack?"- asked Aidan, couching down to El's level once she ran up to us, holding Rainbow and mini Rainbow in her little arms.

"Are you going to eat something?"- wondered our baby girl, hugging her perfect daddy when he scooped her in his arms.

"Yes, sunshine. A chocolate croissant and ice cream."- I replied with a smile while tucking a strand of her wavy, silky, rich brown hair behind her ear.
