Charlotte's P.O.V.

September, October and November ticked by in the most marvellous way possible.

Oh, where to even start.

In the span of 3 months I had numerous fasperformances and had time to create a few campaigns for Chanel, Puma, Versace, Savage x Fenty and Lounge. I built a stable schedule for my, for now only 2, treasured and beloved jobs: Mondays and Fridays are for modelling, the rest of the time is for ballet.

My brilliant husband finished his grand project in the end of September in the most incredible ways imaginable, reaching success of enormous scales, making our baby girl and me so-so proud of his achievements. We celebrated the massive success by going on mini trip to Sicilia for the weekend with my our daughter, parents-in-law, Erik and Lauren and their little ones.

Aidan and I became godparents to the cutest baby boy - Dean Erikson Hoffman: 3rd son of Lauren and Erik, a tiny brother of now 7-year old Tomas and 4-year old Derek. Lauren gave birth on November 17th.

To say that we have barely been out of furniture and building material stores is to say nothing, yet we loved every second of it all because today it all finally paid off - our house looks heavenly and way, way better than we even imagined. It has everything we could possibly want and more, it is truly the most perfect place for our beautiful family.

Today is December 10th and it is beyond special day: day when we finally move in our dreamy home and my Royal Academy of Ballet opens its doors for 150 dancers.

I cannot put into words how I feel, it is unreal to explain how I feel.

The search for the right location, building, construction team, designers and staff - everything seems impossible to accomplish in just 3 months, yet I managed it with my beloved husband by my side, supporting me like nobody else: he was there for me when I just cried because of the stress and aching desire to make everything flawless, he had my back when I struggled to find what I want, he handled the most challenging tasks that I knew little about, he came to the location with me daily and held my hand tightly through each moment, being the prime reason why I didn't crumble down and achieved my dream.

The biggest stress was the name. I didn't get label "Royal" for no reason - I worked hard for years, I was recognised for my effort and input in British history of ballet. Once the old academy shut down, title was nobody's and, as owner of royal honours til now, I had a right to reclaim the name - something that I did with utmost eagerness. Numerous payments, papers, signatures later, in 2 months, I had my title back and was legal owner of it.

Today is a crazy, busy, yet we cannot wait to settle on this grand beginning.

Delightful morning workout as a family followed by bliss with my husband in the shower, cosy family breakfast that we made together. Elodie was taken to foreign languages centre by grandparents since Aidan and I had a few calls to answer and a couple of boxes to hand in to movers.

Now it is time to get dressed.

Due to the uniqueness and importance of the day, I dressed accordingly.

I styled my hair naturally, but with extra texture on the ends and smaller strands that frame my face. Dewy, minimal makeup with a little bit of dark eyeshadow to make makeup smokier. Gorgeous, lacy, white undergarments beneath tight, white dress that topped off with a black jacket and beautiful heels. Shiny, classy jewellery and perfume on my neck.
