RanVeer OS: His Birthday

Veer entered the Rajawat mansion which was unusually quite since he very well knew that under the presence of his wife, anything or anyone can not keep their calm.

He chuckled thinking about her antics before calling out for Kumud.

"Yes Kunwar sa! " Kumud said.

"Is Rani not at home? " He asked as the quite mansion was creeping him out.

"She is in home only Kunwar sa. She is in younger kunwar sa's room. " Kumud informed to which he sighed as to what trouble the two of them were up to now.

"Okay I will go and check on them. " He said.

Kumud nodded and walked off meanwhile Veer headed to Vikram's room but to his luck he found the two of them in the corridor itself.

"Oh Doctor Saab! You came back? " Rani asked getting a bit surprised seeing him.

"Yes I am back but what are you two upto? Hmm? " He asked though he noticed her surprise expression which only concreted his doubt.

"What? Nothing bro we were just chilling! " Vikram covered up for Rani as she looked anywhere but at Veer.

"Is it? Why can't I believe it then?" He countered back.

"Because you are doubting us for no reason! " Vikram replied in his usual childish tone to dismiss the topic off.

"Fine! Rani, let's go and have dinner! " Veer said in defeat as the two of them were too stubborn.

"Sure Doctor Saab! " She instantly held Veer's hand and they headed towards the dining area.

Later at midnight, Veer stirred in his sleep on finding the other side of the bed empty. He instantly opened his eyes and looked out for her but she was nowhere in the room.

'Where can she go at this time of the night?' He thought before stepping out of the room.

He walked inside the living room only to find it strangely dark as the lights of the living room only gets dim at dark and not get off.

"Rani, Rani? Are you here, Rani? " He shouted.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY VEER! " Everyone except Ranisa shouted as she stood there quitely. The lights then got turned on making Veer stunned at their action.

The whole living area was beautifully decorated with balloons, flowers and colourful lights. Veer got shocked seeing all that and the very first emotion that creeped up onto him shear anger.

"Who did this? " He yelled making everyone frown at him.

"I asked who did this? " He yelled yet again.

"Bro we thought.. " Vikram stepped forward to explain but was cut off by Veer.

"What do you think Vikram? That I am some kid who would enjoy such childish decorations on his birthday? You know that I don't celebrate my birthday but still all this! " Veer bursted all his anger on him to which Rani got tears in her eyes seeing his reaction.
