KANAO

"Wah! Ang sakit ng braso ko huhu." Daphne cried while holding a pink bow in her left hand and an arrow in her right hand. She was slightly pouting, cheeks puffing, and has a little tear in her eyes.

Today is the third day of school, which is Wednesday. So, far everything was rather busy if it were to me. After sir J's announcement on our second day of school, the class got serious in practicing their physical abilities and unique talents. Yesterday, it was like hell since everybody was so fired up.

Some of them already saying that they'll win whoever will they fight with. Like saying they're the strongest. Hindi ko maiwasan ang patawa ng mahina. I can say that they are strong everybody in my class has a unique talent which I can say is impressive. However, they should stop since the match isn't even starting yet. Right?

Daphne sat beside me. I smiled before giving her a chicken sandwich that I have brought when I went to the cafeteria a while ago. Somehow, I like giving Daphne foods. I like how she looks like a child drooling over food. It's so cute.

Just by looking at her face, I know what she's thinking. She's worried about what will be going on, on Saturday. Just by observing her, I can tell that she is the daughter of the Wilson Family.

"Are you okay, Wendy-chan?" I asked. She slightly turned bright red before nodding slowly. I started calling her 'Wendy' with a 'chan' since I like to call her that. At first, she kept saying not to call her that. However, I insisted she let me. At muhkang nasasanay na din naman ito. "You know even if we just met a few days back. I can already tell if something is bothering you." I added. I stared at her right in the eyes looking all worried.

"You see I worried about Daphne." She answered.

I tilted my head before glancing at Daphne-chan who is still minding her own business eating her sandwich. Then, looked back at Wendy-chan who is also looking at Daphne. "Why is there something wrong?" I asked.

"You see. Daphne isn't the type of girl who can fight." She said then continued. "She can't fight hand-on-hand combat. As you can see..." We both looked at Daphne, na napatingin din sa'amin na may pagkatataka sa kaniyang muhka. "Walang siya alam sa hand on hand combat. The only thing she knows is that." Pointing at Daphne-chan's arrow.

"Ah..." I let out a surprised yet unexpected voice. "I expected that." "I can tell since I barely even saw her practicing hand-on-hand combat." Dagdag ko naman.

Napabuntong hininga naman ito. "Yeah. And it would be a huge disadvantage if Sir J paired her up with a classmate who knows how to fight."

Napahawak naman ako sa aking baba. "That would really be an advantage for others too, huh." I said.

"Yes and..."

"And?"

"You do know that Daphne is the youngest daughter right?" "Well, her older brother who is the first-line heir is rather very protective towards his little sister. Not just him but the whole family even the elders." She started explaining. "There's this uh, trouble every time Daphne would get hurt." Ah, I get it now.
