11 - Storm on the Horizon

Ate At's Note: It is been a while since I opened my Wattpad account. Almost a year, na hindi ko nabukasan ang account ko. I am taking this opportunity to share or to inform you all, about me being in hiatus. A lot of happened in my life in the past few months. New experiences, new learnings, new responsibilities, new battles, and new challenges made me stopped from updating the story. I was overwhelmed by the sudden changes I have experienced these past few months. I was also pressured in my studies. Studying my ass off - I was trying so hard that it made me feel so drained in life for the first time. Adulting is very hard. Yun yung dahilan kung bakit nawalan ako ng inspirasyon sa pagsusulat.

But, I am once again inspired and motivated. Hindi dahil sa nagkalove life is Ate ah. Wala akong ganun. Huhu. I was inspired sa mga dedication niyo for waiting sa update ko. I also received messages on my IG and Wattpad Acc, telling me they are waiting and loved the story that I make. A few inspiring words made me feel great. Thank you for all of your support up until now.

Ate will do her best to make the story more interesting. I love you all. Mwuahh <3

WENDY

Today is Saturday. 

Yup. Today is the day where someone will be a punching bag later on. Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako, nakakailang buntong hininga na naman ba ko ngayon? It was supposed to be a chilling weekend. But no. 

"Aray!" Napangiwi si Wendy sa nasaksihan niya. Matapos makita ang pagkabagsak ni Daphne sa sahig matapos itong tumilapon dahil sa kaniyang kalaban. 

"Sakit naman nun, Ate Taliah." Naiiyak na sabi ni Daphne habang hinihilot ang kaniyang kanang braso na unang bumagsak sa sahig. 

Nasa bench ako ngayon pinapanood ang dalawa. They are practicing for the fight later. Humingi ng tulong si Daphne kay Miss Taliah para mamaya. Daphne is weak when it comes to hand-to-hand combat and Miss Taliah is also worried that something might have happened to Daphne that's why she agreed to train her with only a minimal time. 

Our fight will be later at seven in the evening. Nine pa lang ng umaga kaya naman may oras pa para makapaghanda mamaya sa labanan na magaganap. "Hm. You should be on guard, Daphne." Ani ni Taliah. Inilagay nito ang kaniyang kanang kamay sa beywang nito. "What would happened if you let your guard down?" 

"Tch." Daphne clicked her tongue. "Ayoko naman kasi eh. Hindi naman ako magaling makipag-laban. Hmp." Napapout ito at napacross arm.

It's true. Daphne may be a daughter of a Mafia Boss that doesn't mean she's good at fighting. Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba sa personalities niya ba pero hindi talaga siya marunong pero magaling naman ito sa long shooting range. That's her specialty. She may use a sniper or a gun. She can also use a bow and arrow to be exact. 

"At least learn some self-defense so that you can protect yourself." Komento naman ni Taliah.

"I did!" Singhal nito.

Napataas naman ng kilay si Miss Taliah. "Then, practice more." Inayos nito ang kaniyang buhok. "Para maperfect mo." I heard that Miss Taliah is a perfectionist. I guess that rumor was true.

"Hmph."

I chuckled. Napalingon ako sa kaliwa ko kung saan nakaupo si Kanao. Tutok na tuktok ang atensyon nito sa hawak niyang ipad na para bang may pinapanood nito. Hindi ko naman mapigilan ang macurious at mapasilip sa pinapanood niya. Napaangat ang aking kilay ng makita kung ano ang pinapanood niya.
