08 - Day Two Unfolds

Hi, loves! Before you start reading I would like to say thank you to those who message me in private for encouraging and supporting my story. I was touched by the sweet words you sent me. Now, it has been my inspiration and motivation to continue to write this story. I would also like to apologize for not updating in these past few weeks since I have been busy with my mid-terms and final exam. My schedule has been so unorganized. 

Also, some of you are asking who's the male lead. I see that you guys are already eager to know who's the male lead. Sit tight, he's going to have his grand entrance soon enough. 

And, I've been thinking that I should start editing some chapters that I have already uploaded. Mas maganda kasi basahin kapag maganda walang mga mali. Ewan ko ba parang naguguluhan kasi ako huhu. Pasensya na mga loves. So, yeah. Again, I am sorry and thank you, dear readers. Hopefully, more and more readers would come to like, appreciate and support this story. Keep safe everyone! 

THIRD-PERSON

"Good morning, everyone!" Masayang bati ni Daphne ng makapasok ito sa kanilang classroom.

Dahil sa napakalakas nitong boses hindi mapigilan ng iba ang magulat. Samantalang napangiti ng matamis si Kanao at napahawak naman si Wendy sa kaniyang dibdib. Wendy got suprised by the loud greeting. 

Daphne hummed her way to the two looking at her. "Good morning, hihi" Bati ulit nito sa dalawa. Kanao greeted her back meanwhile Wendy started scolding the young girl.

"You should lower your voice, Daphne. Nakakagulat para namang nasa palengke ka." Napapout naman si Daphne sa sinabi ng kaniyang kaibigan. Napacross-arms pa ito na tumingin kay Kanao. 

Kanao still smiling so sweetly. Hindi maiwasan ni Daphne ang mapapikit ng konti dahil sa para bang nagliliwanag na aura na pumapaligid kay Kanao. Nagmumukhang nga itong isang dyosa sa mata ng mga tao na nasa paligid at loob ng kanilang classroom. "Pero mas muhka kasi siyang barbie eh." Daphne suddenly said out loud. 

"Huh?" Wendy tilted her head. 

Kanao just chuckled. "I can see you are having a nice morning, Daphne-chan." Daphne's eyes suddenly began to sparkle. 

"Talaga ba? Hehe. Binigyan kasi ako ni Ate Taliah ng chocolate kanina nung pagkabalik ko sa dorm hehe." Parang bata na sabi ni Daphne na may kasamang tawa.

Last night, Daphne stayed over in Wendy and Kanao's room. When the day began, she returned to her room in the dormitory to get ready for school. But, of course. Hindi mawawala ang nakasimangot na muhka ni Daphne habang naglalakad pabalik sa kaniyang dorm room dahil gusto pa sana nitong matulog ng matagal at muhkang balak pa yatang hindi pumasok. 

But unfortunately, today was a day of bad luck for her. After Wendy woke her up, she began scolding her in a caring way, like a mother would. Kaya naman ng makabalik ito ng kaniyang dorm, her roommate felt Daphne gloomy aura. So, she gave Daphne some chocolates but didn't think that Daphne would eat them right away. This seems like Daphne's breakfast.

Napakunot 'noo naman si Wendy. "Really? Chocolate in the morning?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong nito sa kaibigan. Nagtatakang naoalingon naman si Daphne sa kaibigan. "Daphne, you shouldn't have sweets in the morning. It is not good for your health." Nagsimula na muling magsermon si Wendy.

"Eh?" Nadidismaya na reaksyon ni Daphne. "Pero wala namang nangyayare sa'akin eh." Daphne mumled. Ngunit, rinig na rinig naman ng dalawa niyang kasama. "I always eat sweets day and night though." Dagdag nito na narinig din naman ni Wendy at Kanao dahilan na napa-face palm na lang si Wendy samantalang nakangiti pa din si Kanao.
