AYANA DAWNINGTON OR OTHERWISE KNOWN AS TEST SUBJECT 009, was known as one of the strongest test subjects ━━ besides test subject 011. They were pretty similar to be honest, ━━ in Dr. Brenner's opinion and he didn't want two test subjects to be together (since they were always getting along and hanging around secretly when really they were supposed to only stay away from each other because everytime they would go into the void alone yet at the same time, they would contact each other.) Which was why Dr. Brenner set Ayana free into the devil's hell... The Upside Down. He left her there to rot to the core of her heart... Until one day, someone opened the gate to her parallel world and settled her free. And that person was subject 011.
009 had no idea that 011 opened the gate from the deadly, decaying copy of her small town but she did know she opened a connected wall that helped her escape -- which she was thankful for Eleven. All she wanted to do was escape. And that's what she did. She escaped the Upside Down, but before she could fully escape, she was captured by Hawkins Lab men.
She knew she was done for by Papa, but before they could kill her away, she used her abilities to slip into every last one of those workers mind and blow their heads off. After killing them all - which she did not want to but must've in order to escape - she ran, far away into the woods.
Although, while looking for somewhere to hide, she hid behind a comforting home where a darker boy than her finds the girl forging for food from his house. Before he freaked out, he had thought back from last weird girl he met in 1983. He assumed the girl was just like her and the things she was able to do was amazing. Even her english was better and the girl understood Lucas as much as he understood her and why she was the way she had been... Which caused a tainted heart to grow in the Sinclair's oneself...
Though, the boy didn't know that the girl had one in her heart too...
