Chapter 11

Emily's pov:
I woke up first. I was under the covers with JJ tucked under my arm. Our legs were tangled together as she stirred slightly. She turned around to face me and her eyes fluttered open. "Good morning sleepy head." I said giving her a kiss.

"Good morning." She mumbled sleepily. She wrapped her arms around my neck pressing her cold skin against me. "You're warm." She murmured.

I pulled the blankets around her tighter and gently touched her back. "My beautiful girl." I whispered placing a kiss on her hairline. "It's Saturday go back to sleep." JJ whispered her eyes half closed already.

I officially forced JJ to wake up at around 11. I pretty much had to drag her out from under the covers. We both got dressed and made our way to the kitchen to get some coffee.

We were sitting around drinking our coffee when JJ said something that surprised me. "What if we officially told the team. About us. I mean we're getting married right? And I really want to go around and flaunt my incredibly hot soon-to-be wife." She said laughing a little.

At first I didn't say anything. I don't know why I just never really thought about it. When JJ started to look a bit worried I finally spoke. "I think that's a great idea." I pulled her into a kiss. "No more secrets." I smiled pulling her into a hug.

It was Monday morning and we were planning on telling the team today. JJ was wearing her engagement ring on her hand and tapping her fingers nervously on her leg as we drove in the car.

"Hey." I grabbed her hand a kissed her knuckles. "Stop worrying."

"But what if they're mad? What if-" I stopped her. "If they're mad, then who cares? I love you too much and I don't care what anyone has to say about it. No reaction from them will make me love you any less." JJ smiled at me. She seemed to calm down a little bit, but she was still nervous.

We walked into the bau. Derek, Spencer, Jess, and Penelope were sitting around Derek's desk talking about something. Hotch and Rossi came down from their office so everyone was together. I figured this was the best time.

JJ had said that she would like to tell them, if it was okay with me. Of course I said yes. "Guys. I- uh have something to tell you." She said nervously.

Everyone looked at her. "What is it?" Derek asked. "I'm getting married." She said holding up her hand to show off the ring. Everyone's jaw dropped to the floor but Penelope, she looked like she just got run over my a train.

The pure look of shock from her turned into joy. Extreme joy. She started jumping up and down and screaming. "JJS GETTING MARRIED!"

JJ just blushed and looked down. Hotch and Rossi just started at each other. "Okay I'm going to have to ask the obvious question. Who are you marrying??" Derek exclaims. "and why haven't we met him yet." Rossi says.

"Oh you have met them. And you like them a lot too." JJ says nervously. "JJ?" Penelope asks curiously.

JJ takes a deep breath. "I'm marrying Emily." She says with a proud smile looking at me. Everyone's jaws dropped to the floor. Even Hotch was too stunned to speak.

Then all of a sudden Penelope just starts screaming. Like full on screaming. "MY TWO FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE WHOLE WORLD ARE GETTING MARRIED AND THEY DIDNT TELL US IM GOING TO KILL THEM."

She runs up to us and wraps us both in a huge group hug. "Yayayayay!!! So when's the wedding? Where's it going to be? Who are you inviting? Have you picked out a dress?" She just starts racing with with questions.

Finally she turns around and looks at everyone else. At first I was terrified that they were upset, or mad at us. But then Spencer, Derek, and Rossi had huge smiles plastered across their faces. Even Hotch smiled which was extremely rare.

"Congrats!!" Derek said picking JJ up and spinning around with her. "Please tell me we're invited to the wedding." Rossi says with a grin.  "I wouldn't have it any other way." I laughed.

JJ turns around to face me. "We're getting married!" She says with a huge grin on her face. "We are getting married." I repeat pulling her closer to me and kissing her on the lips.

We've actually never kissed in-front of the team before. Of course Penelope starts her screaming again and everyone just laughs. They all hug us and congratulate us. I can't get the smile off my face.

Jess wasn't there anymore. She had left after we kissed. She seemed very unhappy with the whole thing. But honestly I don't really care. She kinda creeped me out a bit.

"Okay what do you say to family dinner at my place tonight? Celebrate the awesome news?" Rossi says smiling. Everyone nods.

Eventually everything settles down a bit and people return to work. It's only 3pm when Hotch says we can go home. No case and not much paper work. "Okay everyone my house a 7!" Rossi says before we leave.

When JJ and I get back to to apartment she seems a bit tired. "Wanna take a nap?" I say pulling her into a hug. She nods and smiles. "We are getting married." She says again. It's like she can't believe it's actually happening.

"Yes JJ. Me and you. Emily and JJ. The blonde and the brunette. We are getting married." I say kissing her again.

She looks up at me with her huge blue eyes gleaming with happiness. "I love you." She says with a grin. "I mean I would hope so. After all we are getting married." I said laughing. "I love you too. To the moon and back." I say.

She goes upstairs and climbs into bed to sleep. I follow her. I'm a bit tired to. Probably just all the nerves.

I get into bed next to her and let her wrap herself around me. She lays her head on my shoulder slowly falling asleep. I play with her hair and quickly set an alarm so we wake up in time to go to Rossis. Then I slowly drift off to sleep myself.
