Chapter 21

Emily's pov:
6 hours 32 minutes and 51 seconds. That's exactly how long I've been married to JJ. We had finally gotten home to our apartment and we were leaving tomorrow morning. We were going to Hawaii for our honeymoon.

We had already packed so there wasn't really anything left. When we got to the front door JJ tried to go inside but I stopped her.

"Hey." I said. I opened the door and scooped her up bridal style carrying her inside. I locked the door and then went upstairs and threw her down on the bed.

She squealed and laughed as I fell down on top of her kissing her passionately.

She ran her hands through my hair as I started kissing down her neck. I moved my hand down her back unzipping the dress and sliding it onto the floor. I was met with a black lace matching bra and panties set.

She moved to slide my dress off and threw it on the floor running her hands over my stomach.

I started to move down her body unhooking her bra and massaging her breasts making her moan softly. I moved down her stomach tracing little circles on her back.

I moved down more and ran two fingers over the fabric of her panties making her squirm with anticipation.

I hooked one finger on the elastic of the waistband and slid them off of her tossing them onto the floor. I could tease her all night but not today. Before she could say anything I took two fingers and pushed them inside of her making her gasp.

She spread her legs wider and let out loud moans as I started to pump my finger in and out slowly. "Faster." She whimpered out barely even able to say anything from the lack of breathing.

I started to go faster and faster until her legs started to shake. I knew she was close. I took my tongue and pushed in against her clit hoping to send her over the edge. I was right.

"EMILY!" She screamed my name grabbing onto the edge of the bed. Her legs shook as I felt her tighten around my fingers and she came all over my hands.

At around 3 am we were both exhausted. I moved up to JJ's face and kissed her lightly. She was still out of breath. I pulled her close to me letting her cold skin press up against me. I covered us both in blankets and let JJ rest her face on my chest.

"I olove you baby." I whispered rubbing her back. "I love you Em." She said sleepily closing her eyes.

*7 days later*
JJ and I were back from Hawaii and were finally going to work as a married couple. I really never thought that I would walk through those glass doors next to JJ, being able to call her my wife.

"Don't be nervous. It's going to be exactly the same." I say with a smile grabbing JJ's hand. She took a breath and we both walked into the bullpen.

"There's the happy couple!" Morgan laughed coming to greet us. Penelope and Tara both gave us big hugs and Spencer stuck with a simple "it's good to have you back."

"So how was the honeymoon?" Rossi asks. "It was great! Lots of sun." JJ said with a slight laugh. Morgan smirked and I gave him a snack across the chest. He doubled over pretending to be hurt.

"See exactly the same." I whispered to JJ smiling. She just laughed.

Just then Hotch came out of his office. He looked at me and JJ. "It's nice to have you guys back. I hate to break up the party but we have a case." He said. We all followed into the briefing room.

~august 15th~
Today was a very exciting day. We were going to JJ's ob to start the process of ivf. We were in the car and JJ was tapping her fingers against her leg.

I grabbed her hand. "Stop it. Everything's going to be fine." I say. I would have been happy to carry the baby, but even with JJ's history she had always wanted to have a baby and she really wanted to do this.

We arrived at the office and filled out some paperwork before waiting to be called. "Jennifer Jareau?" A nurse calls. We both stand up. "Follow me."

We are led to an exam room and JJ sits on the chair. "Dr. Montgomery should be in shortly." She says walking out. JJ is very nervous but I know she's excited.

About 5 minutes later the tall red headed woman walks into the room. "Hi Jennifer it's nice to see you. And you must be Emily?" She says looking at me. I nod. "It's nice to meet you." I said shaking her hand.

"Okay so are we ready to get started?" She asks. JJ nods. "Alright I need you to be naked from the waist down." She said.

Nervously JJ pulls of her jeans and underwear sitting with the paper covering her. "I need to do an internal ultrasound to make sure everything is okay for you to carry the baby." She said with a smile. She pulls out the wand. JJ looks terrified. "That thing is going in me?" She almost shouted.

"I know it looks scary but it's not that bad." Dr. Montgomery said in an attempt to comfort her. JJ still look horrified, but gave her the okay.

"Breath." I whispered smoothing some of her hair back. She nods looking extremely uncomfortable.

Dr. Montgomery is observing the screen very carefully looking a little concerned. "What's wrong?" JJ said looking scared.

Dr Montgomery looked at me. "Emily I'm going to have to ask you to step out of the room please." She says. That can't be good. What's going on?

JJ is full panicking now. She grabbed my shirt. "Don't leave me here please don't leave me here. I want to go home." She begged me.

"I'm not leaving you here." I promised her. "I'm not leaving." I said looking over to the doctor.

"Jennifer I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable, the reason I'm asking her to step out is because I have to ask you some very private questions and I think it's better if no one else is in the room." She said.

"No no no I don't care I want her to stay." JJ insisted. "Okay are you sure?" She asked. "Yes." JJ nodded.

"Jennifer have you ever been sexually assaulted?" She asked.

JJ froze. Her hands shook a tiny bit and her breathing was a little fast. I kissed the top of her head. "It was a few years ago." She said so quietly I could barely even here it. "Does it matter?" She asked.

"Well, the short version is, it doesn't have too. Most likely you will be able to carry the baby no problem. But it possibly could. Quickest version is it might not take as well. So once you know that it took, you don't have to worry too much." She said.

"So it's possible everything will be fine?" I ask. "Yes, hopefully that's the case." The doctor said with a smile. "Now I need to know if you would still like to proceed."

I looked over to JJ. She looked at me. "It's your call. It's your body so you get to make the choice. There are always other options." I say looking at her and holding her hand.

"I still want to do it." JJ says. "I still want to try."
