Harry's POV:

I have enjoyed spending time at the Weasleys but it is nice to think that I will be back in Draco's room tonight.
The food was amazing and Draco seemed to enjoy helping with that. He really is very talented.
"I know that your thinking, eyeing up my son like that," Narcissa teases me as I watch Draco chat with the girls explaining how he made some of the food as they tidy up.
"I'm thinking that I never thought that I could be this happy, I definitely didn't think one person could make me this happy. I don't deserve him, not someone that amazing but I have him and I want him forever," I say a little too honestly.
She sighs dreamily leaning onto my shoulder.
"I've always worried about my baby. I knew he was gay before he did and I was not only worried about what Lucy would say but what everyone else would. Would he ever have children? A family? Will he get hurt or insulted, would his life be harder because of it. And then the dark Lord returned and those worries seemed insignificant to the new ones. I still worry about him. I always will but I am so happy, so relieved that he has you.
I couldn't have dreamed of someone better for my child. You are better than I could have ever imagined Harry Potter."
I look up to stop the tears from falling noticing that it's not the case for her. She wipes her cheek wrapping her arm around me.
"That means so much to me Narcissa, I am so glad that you accept me and are happy that I'm with Draco."
She smiles and nods.
"And don't listen to my stupid husband. You will always have blanket permission to marry him from us."
I chuckle at her words, "he would say unless he asks first."
"He won't. He loves you and he wants that but I think he'd be too scared you'd say no," she chuckles.

"I don't know why he would think that. I wouldn't say no. I'd say yes today, I'd say yes tomorrow. That's never going to change. If I didn't think it would be putting too much pressure on him too soon then I would ask. I know that I want to be with him forever, be a family. I knew that almost instantly. I actually got him a potter ring. I hope that shows him that."
She squeezes me gently and kisses my cheek.
"Well I can't tell you how honoured I would be to call you my son."
I hug her back feeling so glad for Narcissa. She's different to how I imagine my mum and she's different to Molly but maybe that's okay, what makes her so easy to talk too.
"What are you too all emotional about?" Draco says coming over and wrapping his arms around us both.
"Just talking about how wonderful you are dear," Narcissa says and he blushes.
"I am pretty wonderful. It's good to know that it is recognised. Come on let's go in Bill is opening his presents." He says sassily, I watch his arse sway as he glides back into the gazebo.
I take a seat pulling Draco from beside me onto my lap ignoring his protests.
"Don't want to sit with me?" I say into his ear.
"No I'm just worried that other people might be uncomfortable," he shrugs.
"I couldn't care less," I sass back squeezing his hips, "you are mine."
"Merlin not being alone together for a few days makes you very possessive Mr. Potter," he teases poking my side.
"I'm always very possessive. I just haven't been able to show you just how much recently," I say into his ear with a low growl.
He shudders, "you better control yourself," he warns lovingly playing with the Malfoy ring on my finger.
"I got you something my angel. I was thinking about it for a while but I wasn't sure how you'd feel. I was going to wait till later but as they are all distracted I will give it to you now."
He smiles warmly at me looking confused.
I reach into my jumper pocket pulling out a small black box. I flick it open showing him what's inside.
"I know I have a Malfoy one and I wondered if you would like a potter one. I know I don't have any biological family for you to be part of but I want you to know that you'll always be my family and my number one priority," I ramble as tears threaten to fall from his eyes.
"Oh Harry, it's wonderful, you are wonderful," he sighs as I slip the ring on to his other pinky finger.
"I know it's probably not that traditional, it is silver and my family crest and your initials are inside but I thought it might look nice with a couple of stones set on the side. I think it matches our eyes,"
I say looking at the alternating grey stones and emeralds.
"Don't be silly. I love it so much, it's beautiful," he gasps twirling it. "Thank you Harry, you really didn't have to do this. It must have cost you a fortune."
I shrug it off it's not like either of us are struggling for money.
"I'd spend every single gallon I have on you," I tell him honestly and he rolls his eyes kissing my cheek.
"Don't be silly love," he snuggles into my lap not protesting at all any more. He sighs dreamily staring at the ring.
"It's so gorgeous, much nicer than my Malfoy one," he chuckles and I smile kissing his head.
"Well I know you are a bit extra angel," I tell him making him snort defiantly.
