CHAPTER 2: something bout this mystery

A day earlier ......

THE BROWN'S HOUSEHOLD

(Mrs brown , Mr brown, Clarissa brown, Chloe brown)

Mrs BROWN  had only given birth to  the twins over a week ago and was already exhausted and tired from being a mother, they were hard work but they were worth it. She stood there over looking her precious girls wondering how could a sinner be so lucky to have given birth to not one but two beautiful angels  .... then her phone went off and interrupted her thoughts....it was "HIM", he wanted to see her, and even though she had told herself that after she had the babies she would be done with "HIM" she just couldn't resist the urge to see him one last time.....

then she heard footsteps.....

Mr BROWN: putting the little ones to bed I see
Mrs BROWN:  (she smiled) they're already sleeping, I just can't stop looking at them, I love them to death.... (there was silence) I don't even think I deserve them
Mr BROWN: (he hugged her) come here, stop saying that stop it, Its only been a week and your already the best mother I've ever seen
Mrs BROWN: aren't you just the sweetest , I don't deserve you .....sigh listen I promised Maggie that I would come over and help her with this project she has, you know Maggie ...always got some dumb projects she needs me to help with
Mr BROWN: but you just had the twins, the night air isn't good , can't you cancel (the place is silent).....your not gonna cancel are you?
Mrs BROWN: I'm sorry babe I promised and you know how I am with promises , do you want me to break a promise
Mr BROWN': of course not but do me a favour ...stop promising Maggie
Mrs BROWN: (she laughed) ok babe (she kissed his lips) see you in 20 mins , half an hour tops ....

And then she left.......

If only he knew that that was the last slam of the door , if only he knew that would be his last kiss, if only he knew that he would never see his wife again then he would have never let her out of his arms....if only he knew....

THE ANDERSON'S HOUSEHOLD

(Mr anderson, Mrs Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Kamari Anderson, Anetta the old maid)

Mr ANDERSON took his time going down the stairs...hoping not to wake up his wife but little did he know that she was downstairs in the living room .....

Mrs ANDERSON: going somewhere?
Mr ANDERSON: uhh... what are you doing ...reading in the dark? That's bad for your eye and besides aren't you tired , you gave birth to the twins just over 3 months ago
Mrs ANDERSON: 3 months is a very long time darling I'm fine I'm a big girl I can handle my self... now.....going somewhere?
Mr ANDERSON: just gonna pick up something i left at the office it'll only take 5 mins ...I'll be back before you know it... (he walked over and kissed her forehead) love you
Mrs ANDERSON: love you more

Present day.....

Mr brown: (on the phone) yes my wife is missing, she said she was going over to her friend's place but I called there she never showed up,  no it hasn't been 24 hours but I don't care I know she is missing, NO SHE WOULD NEVER RUN AWAY, NO WE'RE NOT HAVING ANY PROBLEMS IN OUR MARRIAGE ...OH MY GOD NOW I KNOW WHY PEOPLE HATE THE COPS, WE JUST HAD BABIES, TWINS, WHY WOULD SHE RUN OFF INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND NOT COME BACK , I'VE BEEN UP ALL NIGHT , HER CELL PHONES TURNED OFF , SHE WOULD NEVER LEAVE HER CELL PHONE OFF, YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR STUPID I HATE YOU PEOPLE (he hung up)

He called a baby sitter to watch over the babies while he was gone .....he went searching through the community at all her regular hangouts, but she was no where to be found....

Later that night he stopped by the police station along with Maggie ....it was now the 24th hour since her disappearance....
The police finally decided to do something about it....they put together a search team to patroll the neighbourhood . But still they found no evidence no clues and still no Mrs BROWN.

Detective: and your sure she said she's going to Maggie's ?
Mr BROWN: YES for the tenth time yes, for some stupid project
Maggie: I had no project last night ....i don't know this sounds weird
Detective: so why would she lie unless she was hiding something , like an affair
Mr BROWN: she would never lie and she would never have an affair ...I'm telling you someone did something to her, someone has her, we need to get her back
Detective: were trying but the pieces of the puzzle just won't add up ...either she lied or you lied ...
Mr BROWN: what are you implying detective?  .....
Detective: were there problems in your marriage?
Mr BROWN: OK OK ..THAT'S IT I'M GOING HOME TO MY KIDS, HAVEN'T SEEN THEM ALL DAY, IF YOU DON'T WANNA TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY I WILL, I'LL FIND MY WIFE MYSELF...NOW IT'S OFFICIAL I REALLY DO HATE YOU PEOPLE.... (He left)

20 mins later....

He walked into the house, saw the baby sitter on the couch relaxing and watching tv....

Mr BROWN:  feet off my couch (she was surprised and jumped up, then he took out some money and threw it down on the table)
Baby sitter: but this is too much, it's double what I asked for
Mr BROWN: are my babies ok?
Baby sitter: yes ... they have been a sleep like forever
Mr BROWN: Shh then just take the money and go please (she left and he dragged himself up the stairs)

He opened the babies' room door and walked over to the crib ....but the babies were missing ...he ran down the stairs and outside but the baby sitter was already gone... he called the police and told them what had happened and they contacted the baby sitter ....

Baby sitter: when I left the babies were fine and in their cribs ...look I even snapped a picture like an hour before he showed up (she showed the police) my friends love pictures of cute babies ....why would I steal your baby? I'm just a kid myself ...think dummy ....maybe your the crazy one ...the officer said first your wife now this ...maybe your doing this on purpose

Mr BROWN was never the violent type, he wasn't even the type to use bad language no matter how bad a situation got but something about her words ticked him off And for the first time in his life for a few minutes he shaped out of character ....he reached across the table and grabbed her neck and squeezed it until the police tazed him ....

Hours later he woke up in a cell with smelly, sweaty and muscular law breakers like himself ... it was the holding cell of the police station ....

Mr BROWN: Let me out I'm a good person I did nothing wrong , please let me go find my wife and daughters , you don't understand , I'm not crazy , I'm not, they were taken I just know it, please let me outa here

he threw himself against the cells until he knocked himself out....

Detective : (to the other police men in the station) he's crazy , he probably did murder his wife and kids but I can already see him proving himself not guilty due to mental illness ... I hate cases like these, we never get to put anybody away...
Police: a mental hospital is good enough ...you'll still be making the streets safer.....

And so said so done ...after the case he was transferred to a mental hospital ....where he still hopes that his wife and kids will return one day ...
