She practically ran into the hospital after her flight had finally landed and she was able to get a cab there. She didn't bring any clothes with her because she didn't have time to pack anything. She had been so frantic after hearing the news of Trey's overdose that all she did was leave work and drive to the airport and paid for the first flight to California. She sent a text to Wilmer explaining why she had suddenly left but he hadn't responded. Right now, her job didn't even matter to her. She just wanted to make sure that Trey was okay.

"I'm here to see Tremaine Neverson!" Demi said, her eyes flying all over the place. She couldn't focus on one thing. All she wanted was to make sure that Trey was alive and well and he hadn't actually overdosed and he wasn't gonna die.

"I'm sure you are. Only family is allowed to see him. You can join the other fangirls that are outside crying about him." The receptionist pointed outside where there was a rather large group of Trey's fans standing outside. Some of them were crying and holding posters.

"You don't understand. I'm pregnant with his baby! I need to see him!" Demi exclaimed, her patience wearing thin.

"I'm just supposed to believe that-"

"She's with me." Demi whipped her head around and saw April standing by the elevators. She shot the woman a look before rushing over to her and engulfing her in a hug.

"How is he?" Demi questioned, jamming the up button a million times, until the doors finally opened and they stepped inside. April hit the button for the third floor. That was the intensive care unit.

"Demi, he's...he's as well as anyone who overdosed could be." Tears gathered in the bottom of April's eyes so Demi did the only thing that she could do. She wrapped the older woman in her eyes and squeezed her as she felt her own eyes start to water.

"I'm sorry for leaving," she whispered into her ear. She couldn't help but feel like this was all her fault. She should've stayed by Trey's side and helped him get better instead of leaving him. Maybe then he wouldn't have overdosed.

"No, you were right to leave. Trey needs to go to rehab. I thought that it wasn't that serious but it is Demi. He can't do it by myself. He needs professional help." The elevator doors opened and Demi followed April out of the elevator and down the hall. No one was actually inside of Trey's room. Everyone was sitting on the couches outside of it, trying to keep themselves occupied with magazines or their phones or snacks.

"Oh so now you care?" A red headed girl with pretty blue eyes exclaimed, hopping up off of the couch and advancing towards her. Demi stepped back to protect herself but that didn't stop the girl from pushing her.

"LAUREN!"

"NO! You don't get to care now that Trey is on his death bed! He begged you to believe that he was getting better but you just ignored him! You don't get to care now! This is all your damn fault! You should be the one on that bed, not him!" Lauren screamed in Demi's face. Demi shoved her away, causing April to step between the two girls.

"Now is not the place or the time. Lauren, don't you put your hands on her again. She is pregnant and if anything were to happen to her baby, Trey would never forgive you. Demi, take a seat. We are not about to do this here," April hissed through clenched teeth.

"Are we allowed to go into the room?" Demi questioned. April nodded, so instead of sitting down, Demi walked into Trey's room and closed the door. She didn't want to sit out there with his family. They were all mad at her in some way, for leaving him and abandoning him when he seemingly needed her the most. She just wanted to sit in here and be with him. She hadn't seen him in over a month, and she would be lying if she said that she didn't miss him.
