"I'm uncomfortable," Demi tried not to be whiny about it or anything but they were back in Los Angeles for the BET Awards and the dress that Alicia had picked out for her to wear was not comfortable at all. It was pretty...but uncomfortably tight.

"Good, that means you look hot," Naya giggled as she finished fixing her hair because she didn't like how her stylist had it.

"Demi, stop being nervous. I know this isn't who you are but you're Trey's girlfriend. Get it together," Naya coached her as Demi sat down on the edge of their bed. Trey's publicist...and his dad, had said that the BETs were supposed to be like their coming out as a couple so they had to walk the carpet together and do interviews together and all that jazz. Demi wanted to be Trey's girlfriend...just not in public. She wasn't comfortable with the idea of cameras being on her and being interviewed when she literally had done nothing to receive all of that attention except for try to take her relationship with her best friend to the next level.

"Okay," Demi sighed because there really wasn't any way for her to get out of this. She was wearing a long sleeve dress that stopped right above her knees. It was cream and had an interesting stitching pattern. It looked good on her. It complimented her body but didn't show off too much. Naya wore something similar but her dress was a different color and it was much shorter.

"Y'all ready to go?" Trey came into the room on his phone, not looking up to see how Demi was dressed. Demi fixed her wavy hair and stood up in the heels that would have her feet aching by the end of the night.

"Yeah, let's go," Demi grabbed her small little bag and walked up to Trey, finally catching his attention. His eyes made a slow trail over her body from the top of her head to the bottom of her heels. She smiled at the reaction that she got out of him and looked back at Naya who was smirking and holding back her laughter.

"On second thought, we can stay here. Naya, Sean is waiting for you downstairs," Trey said in all seriousness, pointing towards the door.

"I'll see you guys there," Naya kissed Demi's cheek before exiting the room and leaving the two lovebirds alone.

"Trey, we have to go. You don't wanna miss your performance, do you?" Demi questioned, one side of her lips tugging up into a calculated smirk as Trey groaned and wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Fine," he huffed, pouting like a child who couldn't get his way.

"But you swear when we get home you're all mine?" Demi nodded and pecked his lips, grasping his biceps in her hands as he spoke again.

"And you won't fall asleep on me?" Demi had to laugh at that one. It wasn't like she was doing it on purpose but for the past two weeks she had been falling asleep before her and Trey could ever really get anywhere. She couldn't help that she was tired, even though she didn't really do anything.

"I promise not to fall asleep. Now let's go," Demi promised before walking around him and heading down the stairs. Trey thanked every single god that he could think of before following after her.

The last time Demi had walked a red carpet was at that party that Trey had dragged her to and it wasn't nearly as chaotic as this one. There were actual celebrities there and there were cameras everywhere. Interviewers were calling out names trying to get interviewers and publicists were rushing their clients along the carpet. It was just too much for Demi so she stuck by Trey, even when he went to go to talk to his friends or do interviews. She didn't say much, she just stood by him.

Demi looked around at all of the people on the carpet. Naya and Sean were posing for pictures with his mom and...was that Beyonce and Jay-Z? Demi's eyes widened but she turned around and listened to Trey's interview.
