"Harley?" Hunter called as he noticed her sitting on a playground bench, looking at the midnight sky. She didn't answer. "Are you ignoring me?"
"I don't want to talk to you anymore," She answered, not even bothering to make eye contact with him.
"What?"
"We aren't meant to be," She closed her eyes. "I'll find my soulmate."
"Why are you acting like this?!" He asked, his tone higher.
"This isn't going anywhere," She got up and looked at him, the happy glint in her eyes gone. "Let whatever this is go."
"Y-You just give up?" Hunter stammered.
In response, she walked away and ended up tripping over a stone. Hunter tried to help her up but she pushed him away and started running back to her house.
I'm so sorry Hunter. But I don't want to see you in pain trying to be with me. I just want you to find your soulmate and leave me alone. If we continue like this, our bodies might not contain the pain.
She unlocked her house's door, took off her shoes, and ran straight into the bathroom.
I hate it.
"I wish I could just rub it off!" She screamed, looking at her butterfly mark in the mirror with pure hatred. "Get off! I don't want this mark!"
She rubbed it so hard she ended up scaring her cheek from her fingernails.
I'm bleeding...
She looked up and she noticed her reflection changed. A young girl was there, with auburn wavy long hair and crystal blue eyes like her, but she was wearing a golden tiara and wearing a tulle dress with floral patterns. Harley rubbed her eyes and looked up again.
The girl was gone.
"Who was that?" She asked and then shook her head. "I'm probably imagining things."
She then grabbed a towel and started wiping the blood off.
Hunter, please move on. I won't but I know if I hurt you enough you will. A repayment for everything.

"Hello!" A female cashier exclaimed as Hunter placed his groceries on the moving conveyor belt. "How are you-"
She noticed the moon symbol on Hunter's cheek. Hunter looked up and saw the same moon symbol on her cheek. There was a long silence.
"W-What's your name?" She stammered.
"Hunter,"
"I'm Arya, could you wait for me after my shift?" She asked with a smile.
Arya was tall, with her blonde hair in ringlets, with perfect makeup and somehow could make a grocery uniform look good.
"...No," He answered, glancing away.
"I'm sorry, uhm, are you busy?" She asked nicely, brushing away a strand of her blonde hair.
"I'm not. I'm loyal to someone else," He said crossly.
"But Hunter-" She sucked in a breath, "-you do realize my sign, right?"
"I don't care," He answered, handing her 20 dollars and grabbing his groceries, walking away without looking back.

"Hunter!" Arya called, running to him. Instead of her work overalls, she was wearing a black skirt paired with a white jacket.
"Go away, I don't want to see you," He sternly said, stopping.
"No matter what, we'll always end up bumping into each other," She reminded him.
"But I'll never romantically like you,"
"I... I'll give you some space, so you can handle whatever you are going through," Arya managed to say, trying to process the words. "But destiny is destiny."
She then shook his hand. "It was nice meeting you, Hunter."
"I don't like my destiny, I won't accept it." He said, glaring at her. "I'll change it to what I want it to be."

"Is Harley here, Mr Brayden?" Hunter asked, at Harley's doorstep.
"She's gone out," He answered.
"Thanks..." He was about to walk away when Brayden grabbed his hand.
"Hunter," Brayden called.
"Yes?"
"Take care of yourself... and please..." He sucked in a breath. "Leave my daughter alone."
Hunter looked at him. "What?"
"It will only hurt more if you continue persuading her." He said, his eyes bearing sympathy. Even he didn't want to do this. "I don't want to see my Harley in pain."
Hunter didn't say anything and walked away.

I can't believe I found my soulmate... The person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with.
Arya sighed, looking at the coffee blankly.
"I don't like my destiny, I won't accept it." She remembered Hunter saying. "I'll change it to what I want it to be."
He... He really seems to like this other girl...
But we have the symbol. There's no need to worry, right?
She stared at her coffee with a smile.
No reason to worry.

"I'm here!" Harley exclaimed once she got back home as her dad, Brayden was waiting for her. "Where's dad?"
"Brody's out to get your favorite dinner!" Brayden answered and Harley perked up.
Should I tell her about Hunter....? Brayden thought and looked at Harley's smiling face. No...
"Do you know how I'm doing modeling?" She asked.
"Of course!" He answered. "You are the prettiest girl I know!"
"Thank you dad... anyway I've earned enough money and I would like to spend it on something," She explained.
"Ooh, what is it?" He asked, interested.
"I would like to find my soulmate."
