FLASHBACK, ONE YEAR AGO
"You got into another fight?!" Harley exclaimed when Hunter came to lunch with bandaged hands, yes both hands.
"No," Hunter answered.
"So, your knuckles are just bleeding for no reason?" She asked sarcastically.
"I fell down," He simply said.
"On your knuckles?" She asked, trying to hold back a laugh.
"Well look at your knee," He said, gesturing to her bruised knee. "You must have been in a fight."
"I tripped over and landed on my knees and not on my knuckles like you did," She answered, and grabbed his wrist. "Let's go to the infirmary, and stop acting like a weird bad boy."
"Don't girls like a rebellious guy?" He smirked.
"Oh gosh, you've been reading too many Wattpad stories!" She muttered. "I like a good guy, maybe a guy that can play an instrument and is smart."
"Hmph," Hunter grumbled.

Psh, I'm just doing it because I'm curious.
Hunter slowly held the violin his father had lent him. His father used to play the violin a few years ago but now he has abandoned it. Hunter figured it could start using it.
He then grabbed the bow and started playing a few discordant notes.
"What are you doing?" His mother asked as she walked in the room, blinking at the sight of Hunter.
"Mom!" Hunter said and put down the violin.
"When did you start liking instruments-?" His mother said, in a state of surprise and incredulous.
"I'm just curious," He shrugged. "Could I do some violin lessons?"
"Who are you? You can't be my son." His mother asked. "You are too rough to be playing such an elegant instrument."
"Please?" Hunter asked.
"I'll look into it," His mother said, clearly disturbed.
Yes!
"Anyway, I just wanted to tell you Harley's here," His mother said.
On cue, Harley busted into the room, wearing a brown sweater and a white skirt.
"Good after-" She then blinked at Hunter and the violin. "What."
"Harley, so-" Hunter was about to say when Harley grabbed the violin, as if the violin would instantly break from his hands.
"Why are you playing a violin?" Harley asked.
"I just like it," Hunter answered.
"But you never liked instruments," Harley blinked.
"Well, I changed!"
"What are you up to?" She asked, uncertain.
"I'm serious!" He shouted.
"Are you doing this because I said I liked someone that plays an instrument...?" She asked, and Hunter turned pink.
"What nonsense is that?!?" He asked, trying to sound offended, but the pink on his cheeks remained.
She laughed. "AHAHAH IT IS!"
"NO ITS NOT!" He argued.
"Gee, Hunter," She said, placing the violin down and touching his shoulders with both hands. "No matter what, you shouldn't change yourself for someone. Think about it, if they truly liked you, you wouldn't have to change."
