It has been a month and all this time Taehyung's love for Y/n has increased with each passing day. At this point he can do anything for her. For his love.

Taehyung's Pov

I was playing with Y/n's hair while she was sitting on my lap laying her head on my chest. We both were watching the city lights when suddenly her phone rang on the table. Seeing the caller ID she declined the call. I furrowed my eyebrows as I asked.
Taehyung: Who was it babe?
She glanced at me and shortly replied.
Y/n: Not important.

She snuggled in my chest as I wrapped my arms around her. But again her phone rang. Groaning in annoyance, she declined the call and kept her phone on silent.
Taehyung: Who is it? Is someone disturbing you?
I asked as she shook her head and closed her eyes.

After a while, a maid came inside our room.
Taehyung: You? What are you doing here?
He asked getting a little mad at her since she disturbed their private time.
Maid: U-Uh I'm sorry sir but I need to...umm...ask her about the flavour she would like for the custard.
She said as Y/n opened her eyes and snapped at her.
Taehyung: Okay...Tell her babe.
He said but Y/n being a little nervous.
Taehyung: Are you okay?
Y/n: H-Huh? Y-Yeah...I'll just come in a while. Wait for me.
She said as she gave me a quick smile and went out with the maid making me confused.

*Next Day*

Author's Pov

??: Arghhhhhhh!!!!
She screamed in pain because of the hard slap she got on her face. She fell on the ground breathing heavily. Her lips were bleeding, hair messy and face stained with dried tears.

??: DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED BECAUSE OF YOUR STUPID DECISION OF BETRAYING ME???!!
He growled with anger. He kicked her on the stomach as she cried in pain again.
??: I-Im...s...sorry..Arrgghh!!
She said while breathing heavily because of the pain as tears rolled down from her eyes.
??: LISTEN!!! DO WHAT YOU WERE SAID TO. DARE TO BETRAY ME AGAIN AND I'LL DO WHAT I DON'T WANT TO..
He said while pulling her up by her arm harshly.
??: I don't want to kill my sister with my own hands so don't betray me again. Get it Lia?
He warned her sternly.

Leaving her hand he went away from there. She looked at him going away as more tears rolled down her cheeks.
A female voice suddenly interrupted her.
??: Come with me...I'll treat your wounds.
Lia: Some wounds....can never be treated.

*Time skip*

*Next Day* (Morning: 9:30 am)

Taehyung's Pov

I woke up from my sleep but couldn't find Y/n beside me which worried me. I asked the maids and they said she went to see her mother at night when I was sleeping since she wasn't feeling good. She wanted to spend some alone time with her so I decided not to disturb them but from inside I was worried about her.

I wanted to go check on her but that would be rude to disturb them. I was getting ready for my office when my phone rang. Seeing the caller ID, I smiled widely and received the call.

Taehyung: Hey! Are you okay? Everything is fine right? Have you eaten? Should I come to pick you up? I'm very worried. I don't want to disturb you guys but-
I paused as I realised I didn't even let her speak. Clicking my tongue embarrassingly I smiled.

Taehyung: Are you there? Y/n?
I asked as there was only silence but then I heard her voice which somehow felt sad and broken.
Y/n: Y-Yeah I'm here...
Taehyung: Everything is fine right?
I said as she paused for a while and answered.
Y/n: Mmm I'm okay...What about you? Have you eaten anything? Took bath?
I smiled seeing her caring about me.
Taehyung: Yes love. Umm..When will you return?
I asked as she paused again for a while.
Y/n: U-Uh...I want to stay at Yuna's house for few days..
She said as I nodded sadly.

Taehyung: No problem..Umm okay then. I have to leave for work. Take care and love you.
Y/n: L-Love you too.
She said as she hung up the call. Shrugging of the thought of not being able to see her, I went to get ready for work.

(At Taehyung's office)

Taehyung: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY YOU'RE NOT GETTING THEM??!!!
Jhope: I-I don't know...Those were kept in the drawers of your office room. No one is allowed to get there but...I've really n-
Taehyung: YOU'RE IN CHARGE OF EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN MY HOUSE!!! HOW COME YOU DON'T KNOW???!! DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT THOSE FILES WERE?

Jhope: I-I know but-
Taehyung went infront of him who was standing with his head hung low.
Taehyung: I don't know how and where will you find them. But I want them in my hands by this week. Understood?
He said with the scariest gaze which was fixed on the man infront of him.
He moved back while massaging his temples when Jhope said.
Jhope: S-Sir...I think someone from our house is a traitor.

He said as Taehyung snapped at him.
Taehyung: Right...Interrogate all the workers and servants. No one should be left.
He ordered as Jhope immediately nodded and took his leave.
Those files are my entire life's hardwork. If I don't get them I'll lose everything- He thought getting extremely tensed.
