I woke up, startled, from a noise in the kitchen. I smelled something cooking. Staring at the clock it was already 7:00 in the morning. Who was in my house? I peered over my bed and grabbed my baseball bat. Slowly, I opened the door and looked into the rest of the house. Quiet... too quiet. I noticed the kitchen light was on. I gradually opened the door and walked close to the wall. Adrenaline ran through my body. The smell of bacon and pancakes filled my nose. Strange... What kind of murder cooks pancakes and bacon? Holding the bat tightly, I jumped in front of kitchen and screamed "AHH!" as my attempt to scare the murder. I heard a girl scream back. Next thing I know, I saw poor, scared Marie cooking breakfast. I dropped the bat and gave her a huge hug. I laughed and said "What in the world are you doing here? I thought you were still on tour?" She replied "I was, but I had something better to do here."  She look towards her room and smiled. I was confused until I saw Austin lying; fast asleep, in her bed. I looked back at her with a smirk. She gave me the look to stop, but I just had to just shake her around. She finally got me to stop and I helped her finish breakfast.

After a while, Austin got up and greeted us with a simple 'good morning'. Marie went up to him and gave him a kiss. I looked away, giving them privacy. I'm so happy that Marie has Austin. He is a great guy and treats her like a princess. She is so lucky to have him. As they went back into the kitchen, I stared at my phone waiting for Nick to text me. I just can't believe Jimmy even called me and pushed Nick and I into those personal questions. I don't understand why everyone cares so much about our relationship. Maybe I shouldn't be bothered it. Maybe this is normal.

Interrupting my thoughts, my phone buzzed. Someone was calling me. It was Nick! I picked up my phone and answered "Hello." Nick answered "Hey babe. How are you?" I replied "I'm fine. I guess. You did a great job last night on the show." Sighing, he said "Thanks. So did you, but I think we need to talk about that because it was out of nowhere." He was right, it was crazy. Nick continued "Do you want to come with me to the recording studio today and maybe we can talk afterwards? I can pick you up." I smiled "Sure. I would love that. What time are you coming to get me?" After a moment, he said "In about an hour." "Okay I guess I will see you then." I said as I was getting up from the couch. We both exchanged our goodbyes and then I hung up. I hurried into my room and started getting ready. Marie and Austin helped me get my stuff together. I let Marie do my makeup while Austin kept us entertained. We were having a blast. Austin literally became my best friend. He was funny and full of happiness. Our fun was cut short when we heard a knock at the door. Austin and Marie turned towards me.  "What?? It's just Nick." I said as I watched Austin dart for the door. Marie and I slowly followed behind. Nick and Austin were already waiting for us. Once Nick saw me he excused himself from Austin and walked towards me. He kissed me on my cheek "Hey". I smiled, grabbed his hand, and we were off to the studio.

As we pulled up to the studio, cameras were everywhere. Nick was already irritated that they were here. Looking at him, I explained "Nick. I know, but we need to keep doing our thing and stop worrying about what they want." Nick nodded, put on his sunglasses, and open his door. I hate when he is upset because he always tries to hold it in. Watching him as he walked around the car, he kept a straight face, trying to ignore all of the questions. I slid on my sunglasses and waited for Nick to come and open my door. Nick pushed back some of the paparazzi and opened my door. His hand reached out to help me out of the car. We walked towards the studio with yelling crowds, flashing lights and his hand in mine.
