Chapter 18

After our time in New York was done, Nick and I left back to LA. I already talked to the police and figure out that whole situation. I was glad that I lived on the other side of the country at this point. I looked out the plane window to find the beautiful city of LA. I was finally home.

Once I got home, I unpacked all of my bags and laid on my bed. I sighed which let out all of my stress and worries. I then heard someone knock on the door. "Come in!" When I looked up I found Austin standing at the door. I smiled "Hey! What's going on? I haven't seen you in awhile!"  He sat on the bed "Yeah! I know! How are you doing?" I sighed "Tired... but glad it's all over." He laughed and then asked "So have you seen Marie today? I haven't seen her in a while." I looked at him with a face of confusion "No I haven't seen her..." He looked upset that I said that. I continued "Are you two okay?" He looked up at me and sighed. I said "I take that as a no..." He finally answered "We aren't on the best terms right now, but that's why I came. I wanted to talk it out." Trying to avoid what happened between them, I replied "Oh... Well, I don't think she is here... Sorry about that..." He got up from sitting on my bed "Okay... I guess I will see you later..." I smiled and waved 'goodbye' as he left my room. I felt bad, but I didn't want to get involved in their relationship. Plus if he wanted to tell me then he could. As I looked over at the time on my phone I found that it was already 10:30 p.m. I laid my phone down and fell asleep.

The next couple of days were super busy for me. My producer career was just kicking off and I already had several artists come in to use the sound booth. I worked with Fifth Harmony and Drake in the last couple of days. Everyone has been doing amazing with their music. Today, it was Demi's turning to started recording. I have heard that she is a very sweet girl and knows her music well. I was looking forward to meeting her!

Demi walked in with amazing talent. We were trying to figure out what songs would go on her new album. She had several songs pre —recorded and some she just wrote. As I was sifting through her music sheets I saw the song 'I Really Don't Care'. I looked up at her "What's this song about?" She quickly grabbed the song out of my hand. "Sorry... That wasn't supposed to be in the pile of songs." I smiled back "You know... a song is better shared than hid." She smiled back and said "I will think about it." We started going through songs again until she stopped and looked up "So... You and Nick. Huh?" I laughed a little "Yeah... He's pretty awesome." She nodded and said "Nick and I are really good friends and you are really lucky to have him." I nodded a little and replied "To be honest he is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me." She oohhh and awwwhh —ed and we continued to talk about her music.

The session ended around 8:30pm.and we exchanged our goodbyes. My phone rang and I answered "Hello?' Nick answered "Hey babe! How was your day?" I smiled "It was pretty good. I got to meet some awesome artists." He answered "How about we talk about it when you come over tonight." I sighed "Nick... I want to come but I'm really tired and will probably fall asleep when I get home." He replied "Yeah but I want to see you so bad. I haven't seen you in about a week." After a pause I said "Okay I will come over..." He excitedly said "Okay see you soon. Love you!" "Love you too." I cleaned up the rest of my stuff and hopped into the car.

I finally reached Nick's house without getting lost. I grabbed my purse and headed towards the door. Nick saw me coming up and had been waiting at the door for me. When I reached him he pulled me in and gave me a quick kiss. "Hey Gabby" I smiled tiredly "Hey Nick" We walked in quietly and then sat on the couch. Nick started a movie and sat next to me. Throughout the movie we cuddled and slowly talked about our week. I placed my head in his lap and looked up at him. Nick looked down at me and said "So who did you work with this week?" I sighed "I met Drake, Fifth Harmony, and Demi." Nick smiled and said "Demi is a really good friend of mine." I nodded "Yeah she mentioned that. She was really sweet and very talented."  We continued to talk about Demi and how Nick and her met. I, also, found out that Demi and Joe use to date. Haha! Crazy! After a while of laughing at each other, Nick and I stared silently into each other's eyes. I felt so comfortable and safe with him. I slowly sat up normally not breaking the eye contact. He moved my hair out of my face as my smile grew. He softly said "I love you so much..." I looked at his perfect lips then looked back into his eyes. "I love you too."  Our lips crashed together. His lips were warm and soothing. This is perfect. He was perfect... Nick slowly laid me back down on the couch never disconnecting our lips. The pace of our kiss started to quicken. I missed him so much. I missed us so much. Our lips disconnected as he started to kiss my neck. He kissed between my neck and shoulder, where my weak spot is. I let out a soft moan and felt his lips form a smirk. I blushed, feeling a little embarrassed. His lips came back to mine as he pulled me up from the couch. My legs wrapped around his torso and my arms around his neck, as he carried us back to his room. Our lips never disconnected. Once we were in his room, we started to strip each other down. Once I was down to my bra and panties and him in his underwear we just stared at each other.  Man he was gorgeous. His chiseled abs. His face. The way he bit his lip.  Gosh! He is so sexy. Then he came up to me and started kissing my neck again. Then he made his way to my lips and we both laid back carefully on the bed. His arms caressed my body as we kissed. I could feel him getting harder. I slowed down our kiss. "Nick..." He stopped and looked me in the eyes. "Nick... you know I love you, but... Can we not do anything tonight..." He looked upset after I said that. I know he loves me, but I don't want to do anything until I'm comfortable. Nick sighed and forced a polite smile  "Whatever you want babe. I'm sorry if I was too rough." I looked back at him,  and whispered "No you were perfect it's just that I don't feel comfortable with going too far yet. I'm sorry..." He kissed my forehead "It's fine..." I smiled. He was so sweet. I love how he won't make me do anything I don't feel comfortable with. He's perfect. We both slid under the blankets and cuddle together until we fell asleep.
