Chapter 53

GABBY POV

Nick and I were snuggled up together until there was a loud bang at the door. Nick and I, startled, dressed and went to open the door. Marie, Demi, and Dani barged in yelling and hurrying me to come. I laughed, "Hold on... let me get my things." Nick followed me back to the bedroom. As I finished packing, Nick said, "I'm going to miss you so much." I smiled at him, "I'm going to miss you too, babe!" I grabbed my outfit the day and started to change. Nick came up behind me and started to kiss my neck. I turned to him and kissed him, "Babe." He asked, "Do you really have to go?" I nodded and sighed, "Yes... but... by the next time you see me I will be in all white and saying I do." He looked down and blushed. I walked and grabbed my bag. As I started to walk out, he grabbed my hand and turned me back to him. Nick held me close, "I love you..." I whispered back, "I love you too..." He pulled me in for one last kiss before I left. Marie and Dani grabbed my bags and we were off.

The girls wouldn't tell me where we were going, but I had several ideas. The flight took forever, so I knew we were leaving the states. After about a five hour flight, we landed. Demi whispered in my ear, "Welcome to Hawaii!" My smile grew ten times bigger. We got off the plane and were given lays of flowers. The locals greeted us and helped us with our bags. We got into the car and went to the hotel. After that the day was very relaxing and fun. We went to the beach, got tans, and massages. It was so nice to have some time with my friends. I mean, we are all so busy all the time that we really don't get any time together. Marie has been managing other upcoming singers, Demi just got off tour and continues to write for her next album, and Dani just had a her baby girl. I have been writing and producing, plus just got off tour with Nick and Demi.

At dinner, we all sat at a huge table and had an amazing feast. All of us laughed and enjoyed the time we finally got together. Marie said, "Gabby. I want to make a toast to you." She stands up holding her glass of wine. "So I know I have to save some of the embarrassing stories for the wedding, but there are a few things I wanted to let you know before that time... We have been friends for a long time and I have seen you at your best and worst. I know that I have messed up a few times, but I'm so happy for you and can't wait to see what you and Nick do together. I'm so excited for you and I hope you won't forget us here... your girlfriends... We will always... always be there for you no matter the cost. We love you and Congrats!" She smiled and held her cup up. We all held up our cups together and cheered together. I'm so lucky to have friends like them. They care for me and always want to help me. I feel so blessed. I can't wait to be married to Nick and have all of my friends behind me.
