wooyoung's pov
"Woo, hurry! We'll miss our lecture..." Hongjoong shouted through their apartment. "I'm trying but I don't know what to wear." Wooyoung shouted back in pain. "Oh my god..." he heard Hongjoong muttering in the other room. The sound growing louder till he stepped into Wooyoung's messy room.
Normally he tried to keep it clean, but he wasn't really good at it.
"Lemme have a look into your closet." Hongjoong mumbled. "Thank you, Joongie-Hyung~ But watch out, maybe you'll find yourself in there." Wooyoung chuckled to himself.
Hongjoong sighed but quickly decided for something. He pulled out a pair of elegant black suit pants and an airy silky blouse. To Wooyoung's surprise the last thing Hongjoong pulled out of his closet was the black corset he had bought a long time ago, but never wore it, because he didn't know back then with what to match it and simply forgot it afterwards.
"Now get dressed while I'm gonna pick some accessories out for you."After Wooyoung had changed in the bathroom and fixed his hair he put his accessories on, that consisted out of a thin golden necklace and golden pendant earrings, nothing more. Hongjoong who didn't want to waste more time helped him in his black coat and shoes and took his bag with him.
"Jeez, Hongjoong, stop stressing me out with your hurry." Wooyoung whined rushing down the stairs behind him. "If you maybe just woke up on time for once I would not be here stressing you out." Hongjoong mocked Wooyoung's words. Wooyoung gulped as he hurt the annoyed and slight furious tone in the other's voice and didn't dare to say anything.
Fortunately the college wasn't that far away from their building so they made it in time, though they had to run a bit...
Wooyoung was panting heavily after their sprint over campus while Hongjoong looked around him searching apparently for something with a distressed look in his eyes.
Curious Wooyoung stood up straight and tapped the white blonde on his shoulder."Huh?" Hongjoong turned around startled as if he forgot that Wooyoung was still standing next to him. "What're you searching for, Hyung~~" he asked him.
Hongjoong looked at him sheepishly.
"Nothing in your interest..." he meant. "Please please pleaseee tell me, Hyung.." "Shut it Wooyoung and go to your class." With that Hongjoong walked away.Wooyoung followed him with his eyes, raising his eyebrows as he saw how the older suddenly started a weird thing between running and jogging waving with his hand.
He was signalling another guy to wait for him Wooyoung realised fast.
It was a tall man with shiny silver hair that had a pretty lilac undertone, he had a slim and long figure, every movement he did seemed calm and elegant.
In that moment that was all Wooyoung could see since he was standing far away and the other guy was in the middle of the crowd. Though Wooyoung of course noticed the warm and sweet smile the guy gave Hongjoong as soon as he saw him. His eyes got big and round, almost seeming in awe from the look of the white blonde and smaller man.Suddenly someone bumped against Wooyoung's shoulder and something pink flashed by his eyes. Wooyoung ripped his eyes open.
Pink, pink, pink. The colour was exactly like his hair.
The pink haired person shouted a little apology as they kept on running through the halls without looking back.
A quiet "wait..." escaped Wooyoung's dry lips gazing after them.
But right in the next moment Wooyoung couldn't see them anymore. Just like Hongjoong and the man he had met up with who had disappeared probably now waiting for their lecture to start in their classroom. But Wooyoung didn't even realise that he was now one of the only person standing outside in the hallway.
Completely zoned out his hand wandered to his shoulder rubbing it trying to release the slight pain the person had caused. It did take Wooyoung a while to snap out of the state he was in but when he did and took a look at the time on his phone he saw that his lecture had already started...
...
"Since everyone is here now...", the professor said and gave Wooyoung a meaningful glance, "let me restart and tell you all about the end project of this semester."
Excited mumbling and chatting was to hear in every inch and corner of the classroom.
Wooyoung sat up straight playing with his pen in his finger nervously.
"The project will be a collaboration with other important majors of our university..."
All of them? Woo thought to himself.
"Each and everyone of you will be assigned a partner from a certain department. And I want you all to corporate with them perfectly and without complaining. Remember this end project will be the most important for you this year. It will weigh double into your end mark."
Wooyoung gulped in suspense. I hope I'm gonna get a good partner...
"Now listen... This course is gonna work together with some people of the photography and filmmaking department. The other professors and I figured that that would work the best. You will all pick a special concept with your partner, your part then will be to create the clothes you'll have designed, of course your partner will be free to help you. Though their job is to portray your work in the most perfect way they can with a grand photoshoot, this will be what you are going to give us professors in the end.
Please make sure everything stays in the concept you decided for and if you have question please ask your professors.
This is supposed to be a perfect opportunity for you all to show your skills and prove yourself..." the professor kept on rambling, giving a great speech about the upcoming project but Wooyoung didn't listen anymore, his excitement was starting to take over him......
After Wooyoung had left the lecture he wandered absentmindedly around the campus, he was thinking about the project. To his luck he had finished all of his left work and projects from other courses just yesterday. Now he wondered who his partner for the end project would be...
Maybe I am lucky and it's gonna be Mingi... he thought. Though I'm never lucky... so probably no...
But he didn't know anyone else from that major. Most of his friends came from the fashion or performing arts major. And maybe he had some acquaintances from the artificial arts, the ones who painted or did sculptures and that kind of stuff. He knew them through Yeosang who was the only one of his close friends in that major.
But no one from the photography and film making department.Suddenly he felt an arm laying down around his shoulders pulling him closer to the person. "How you doing?" A deep voice asked. Wooyoung looked up with a big grin on his face. "Hii, Mingi." Mingi returned his dumb smile. "Hi, dumbass." Wooyoung heard Yeosang mumble at his other side. "Thank you a lot for this kind greeting, Yeosangiee~~" Wooyoung spoke with a bittersweet tone in his voice.
"Where is Hongjoong Hyung?" Wooyoung asked the others. Yeosang and Mingi shrugged their shoulders. "I don't know, though Yeosang saw him when he left his classroom." Mingi meant. Wooyoung looked curious at Yeosang. "He was walking around with this other guy, he had this shiny silver hair with big round black eyes." He shortly told. "Ohhh, that guy, yes I saw them together before the lecture started. He looked kinda hot not gonna lie." "I mean you're not wrong..." Yeosang trailed off. "I must've missed something I guess..." Mingi meant now. "Kind of..." Wooyoung and Yeosang both said at the same time."Anyways... what shall we do today?" Mingi asked. Yeosang shrugged his shoulders. "I'm free all afternoon, I finished all of my projects already a few days ago. We could go to the movies for once, I guess..." he told them. "Ohh, that sounds good. Woo, are you in?" Woo looked at them with a guilty smile. "I'm really sorry, guys... but I don't think I'll be able to go... still gotta finish some projects." "Oh, common. Woo, you've been working on your projects all the time for the last weeks... let's do something together today, pleaseeee..." Mingi gave him some big puppy eyes and Wooyoung groaned. His guilt was taking over him. Since he had spent most of his time in the café building up the courage to ask San for his number and still working on his college stuff he didn't do much with his friends, in the morning and afternoon he had classes or was in the shop, in the evening he had been too tired or needed more time alone to get over his frustration.
"We can go to the movies in the evening if you want to, just pleaseeee, Woo, join us." Mingi still pleaded. "Mmmm" "Please." Now even Yeosang joined in. "Mmm, okay okay, this evening?" "Yes! Yes, this evening." Yeosang and Mingi went on with the playing while Wooyoung was now stuck in his thoughts. The pink haired person that bumped into Wooyoung this morning had came back into his mind. Was he now completely loosing his mind? Seeing the pink hair everywhere he would go? Gosh, just how could he make this stop? The whole situation was so frustrating. He was so helpless.
Only this afternoon... this would be the last one. The last afternoon he would visit that café in hopes to meet San, but he would stop after this one last time...
Maybe he would be lucky just once...
