san's pov

Confused he stared at his phone in his hand.
Though he could barely even see the screen through the tears that had been running down his cheeks for some time now.
His mind felt a lot lighter than before since he had finally freed himself from the heavy thoughts a bit but his heart felt even worse.
What did Wooyoung think of him now?
He didn't want to know.

He wanted to let him close to himself. He really did. But San only realised that now. The fear he had felt had consumed his entire mind blurring everything else out.

His eyes slowly drifted towards the window which showed the pretty view of the rain heavily pouring down on the street and the warm street lights.
There was not a single soul out there. Just some cars driving by where the traffic was usually horrible.
It seemed kind of... calm.

And so the minutes passed. Just him staring out of the window in his sweatpants and white t-shirt.
All while the tears kept on forming in his eyes.
But suddenly something appeared in the middle of his sight.

Since it was dark already outside you could hardly make something out of the black figure that was crossing the street.
But it stopped right under a street light for a moment.

It was a man dressed in a black coat which he kept closed with his one hand while the other was holding...
an huge black umbrella.

San immediately got up from his bed and walked towards the window.
His heart had jumped at the sight.
He watched how the person slowly started to look up to exactly where he was standing and revealed a face that was just too familiar to San since it seemed like he had studied it piece by piece.
Every feature for itself.

Wooyoung.

The boy let his coat loose and shortly waved at San who was standing completely stunned at the window.
And right the second after he ripped himself away from the place he was standing and started to rush towards the door.

wooyoung's pov

Wooyoung watched the older carefully. The way he stood by the window, the way the surprise was written all over his face.
And before Wooyoung could keep on walking towards his apartment he suddenly disappeared from his view.

Wooyoung was confused for a short second before he started to rush towards the building again since he remembered in which horrible weather he was actually standing in.
He was actually impressed that his body was still dry.

Though as he kept coming closer towards the place he watched how the door was suddenly almost thrown open and person dressed in light colours rushed outside looking out for something in a hurry.

Though as his eyes met his everything stopped.
They just stood there for another moment.
Watching each other carefully as their heartache grew even more since they still weren't in each other's arms.
But neither of them was able to move.
To even take one small step.

So Wooyoung started to call out for the other.
"San." He was only able to bring out.
"San!" He spoke another time slowly loosing the ability to breath properly as his chest hurt so badly.
And that was when San finally felt his body again and freed himself from the feeling that kept him away.

In an haste he started to rush towards the other. It felt like all the weight dropped from his shoulders.
The only thing on his mind was Wooyoung.
The only thing he was feeling was his longing for Wooyoung.

As he got closer Wooyoungs grip on his umbrella got weaker and weaker until he finally let it go.
Falling onto the wet ground in one of the big rain puddles.
