san's pov

San had a hard time not falling asleep during his morning classes, he did not sleep a lot that night due to him and Seonghwa staying awake until about 3 am watching movies and talking a lot.
When they had finally decided to go to bed he simply could not fall asleep, staring at the at the ceiling, opening his phone from time to time and throwing it away again after he had stared at his chat with Wooyoung.

unknown
hey this is wooyoung
the idiot that asked u for ur number today ;)

san
heyy :)
what's up?

that was all. Wooyoung hadn't been online since he had texted San. And that didn't change all the times San had checked the chat again and again.

Maybe he went to bed. Or maybe he's doing something with his friends. Or maybe work or maybe...

I'm thinking to much again.

San had groaned covering his face with his hands. With slow and steady breaths his mind had calmed down becoming silent until only the melody of the song he had been listening to had echoed around in his head.
It had been a really soft song, fitting to the vibe of his small room.
San loved his room with all of his heart. It gave him the comfort he needed and was cozy and calm. His bed in the corner of the room right beside the big window consisted out of a big pile of gigantic white pillows, blankets and plushies.
On his shelves and desk had been tiny candles lit, shining in a warm light.
The shadows of the plants that lived in different corners of the room had been wandering on the walls.
When you looked out of the window of San's room you had the view of the busy street and the many colourful lights. And if you climbed out of the window carefully you could find a small in the past abandoned balcony that was now one of the most special places of the entire apartment as Seonghwa had spent a lot of time on decorating it, when San had told him about the small spot.
Now it was grazed with small lights and plants with blankets and pillows laying on the ground. Though now due to the weather San had had to take them in so they wouldn't get wet or blown away by the wind.

Now San sat in this uncomfortable chair in his morning class thinking of his room and its warmth, missing it incredibly.
"I wanna go home." He whined. Yunho chuckled and nodded agreeing with him. Mingi yawned loudly. "Ahh, common, guys. We can do this!" He tried to motivate them through his tiredness.
"I don't think so." San mumbled frustrated though he smiled mildly.
"Aren't you excited to see who your partner is in the project? Yunho and I already looked at the board before the lecture." Mingi meant.
"Really? Who are yours?" "Mingi got a girl from the class above us actually and I got some weird dude from who I can't even remember the name from." Yunho told San.
"Sweetheart, you're talking about my friend Hongjoong." Mingi reminded his boyfriend bittersweetly.
Yunho simply shrugged his shoulders and Mingi rolled his eyes. San giggled quietly. "I'm sure both of your partners are really great..." he mumbled while thinking about who his partner would be...

Thankfully the class ended a short while after the conversation had took place.
"I'm going to the board now, I'll be joining you again later." San told his friends. "Alrighty, until then." Yunho and Mingi waved at San until he went around the corner and couldn't be seen anymore.

A big mob of people were standing in front of the board, talking extremely loudly. Almost shouting. San didn't want to get himself in trouble or get himself in the middle of this mess so he just waited patiently on the side. So he watched the people go away and as most of them were gone he finally got to the board and started searching his name.
San felt how another person fought their way through the poor rest of the mob but he didn't even think about looking their way.

And right in that moment San found it. There it was written. His name. Choi San. And right next to it stood a name that was extremely familiar. San had repeated it so many times in his head already as his eyes had widened due to his surprise.

Is this real? Maybe there is another person on the campus named like that. It can't be him.

He slowly turned his head to the side where the other Person was standing and froze as he was faced by two wide eyes staring a hole into his body with an open mouth.
San's surprise felt like a deep punch in the stomach making every composure he had left on his face drop before they both called out at the same time.

"YOU?!"

Jung Wooyoung.

That was the name on the board and that was surely the surname but most definitely the name of the beautiful man standing in front of him.

He had straightened his slight wavy brown hair today, the almost blonde highlights shined golden in the warm light of the corridor.
As usually he had dressed perfectly. This time more simple. A white shirt with plump sleeves, a black sleeveless sweater vest on top and the usual black suit pants, all paired with silver jewellery.

"Are you-" San started. Wooyoung nodded. "And you- you are the only Choi San here, right?" He asked him. San nodded as well. And it was silent for a long moment until...

"OHHH, THAT'S SO AWESOME! WE'RE PARTNERS!"
Wooyoung shouted out excitedly. San stared at him still speechless.

The guy he had seen everyday in the coffee shops for weeks and had passed small notes to with his orders would be his partner for the project. This gorgeous human being with the prettiest eyes and smile ever. San had dreamed about him often. Afterwards he had woken up, shaken his head, calling himself an idiot in his mind for even thinking about the lovely stranger and had went on with his boring ass life.

But now...

San's lips formed a shy but warm smile while still looking down at Wooyoung.
"I guess we are." He meant now. The other started grinning widely.
For another long moment both just looked at each other fondly, just until San opened his mouth again.

"I texted you by the way." Wooyoung's mouth formed a small "oh" as he processed the words.
"Last night." San added. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see it yet. I was out with my friends." Wooyoung explained himself. "It's fine, it's fine." The other assured him waving his hand as if he was trying to wave the worries Wooyoung had away.

"So you're a photography major?" Wooyoung asked San. The pink haired guy nodded. "And you fashion, hm?" He mumbled and Wooyoung smiled at him mildly.
"Do you have to go to any more classes?" Wooyoung asked San. "Mhm, yeah. There are a lot I need to go to today, if I want to or not. But at least I don't have have to work today."
The brunette frowned.
"But if you have time we could meet up this weekend to start with our project."
Wooyoung nodded eagerly. "Sounds perfect!" San gave him the brightest smile ever.

"Text me?" He asked. "I promise." Wooyoung assured him and waved at him as he walked away, disappearing in the crowd. Though not without looking back at the other one last time.
