wooyoung's pov
Wooyoung stared concentrated on his feet while waiting for his coffee. He was as usually stuck in his thoughts.
Today Jongho, the red haired barista had taken his order today because the blonde one who did it normally was now teaching his boyfriend how to use the machines since he had practically begged him all of these days to let him help out.Jongho was probably the calmest out of the baristas that worked here, he didn't talk much, still being polite tho, but he seemed like a really quiet person. Wooyoung had caught him staring at him from time to time in the last few days with a sheepish but interested expression in his eyes.
Now Wooyoung was curious why Jongho had stared at him like that and it seemed like he would find out soon."There you go..." Jongho said and gave him the hot cup. "Thank you." "What's your name by the way?" Jongho asked interested. "Wooyoung..., your name is Jongho, right?" he responded quickly. "Yes, you're right..." Jongho gave him a warm smile. "Enjoy your coffee."
"Thank you." Wooyoung spoke again and sat down in the usual corner. Only then when he let go of his coffee cup he sensed the sticky note with his fingers that was hanging on the cup. Wooyoung raised his eyebrows. Sadly it wasn't one of the cute pastel purple ones he loved so dearly but a white one where there was something written in crooked letters. "Just stay a bit longer today..."
Wooyoung looked over to Jongho again with a confused expression on his face but the other simply ignored his asking face and went on with his work. So Wooyoung shrugged his shoulders and decided to just do what he has been told. Why not? he thought. He had nothing to loose and still had a lot of time left until he would visit the cinema with his friends. So he waited.
After a while of just simply sketching and drawing lazily in his sketchbook and getting frustrated because he wasn't satisfied with anything of it he finally looked up. It was turning dark outside mostly because thick dark clouds were wondering over the sky starting to cover it completely. Wooyoung took a look on his phone. It was almost five o'clock normally he would've already left the shop by now. And since he definitely wasn't going to do that he took a look at the weather report instead. Surprised Wooyoung raised his eyebrows as he read that the clouds he had just seen were actually brewing up to a big fat storm.
"Fuck.." Wooyoung muttered under his breath. He hated all kinds of storms. They made him all nervous. And today he didn't even have his big umbrella with him to protect and save himself from it. Normally he didn't leave the house without it but due to the hurry he had been in that morning he had forgotten it at home. It's going to be fine... he thought to himself. It's not like he was a small kid he couldn't handle anything.
And it was just a storm, nothing to be nervous about. He shook his head thinking about his ridiculous worries and went on with drawing. Not before he put on his headphones and started playing loud music though.
And this was how he stayed for the next 20 minutes before he looked up again only to find out that it was heavily raining and storming outside. Hesitantly he took out his headphones ignoring the thunders outside the best way he could looking at Jongho who stood behind the counter staring angrily at the door. Multiple questions popped up in Wooyoung's head but that was the moment he decided he would go now. There was no point in waiting any longer since the weather would not get better. Also when he looked at his phone he saw that Yeosang texted him asking if he was okay and that he saw that he left his umbrella at home.So it was really the best if he would leave now. He packed his things up and went to the counter to pay for his drinks. "Don't you want to stay a bit longer?" Jongho asked him shyly as Wooyoung gave him the money. "No, not really... The weather isn't getting any better and I'll be meeting up with my friends soon." Wooyoung explained and gave him an excusing smile. "Shit. That dumbass was supposed to come in fifteen minutes ago..." Jongho muttered under his breath. "Jongho?" The blonde puppy barista now chimed in from the side just as Wooyoung asked a confused "what?". "Do you now by any chance when San will be coming in?"
San?
And right in that moment the door ripped open and a guy loudly stormed in.
Wooyoung stared with wide eyes at him. He stood in front of the door, hands resting on his knees, panting heavily. All of his clothes were drenched with water, completely soaked, sticking to his slim body. His pink hair was completely wet too, sticking to his forehead.
"Fuck..." he now said under his breath. Everyone that stood by the counter was staring at him, thought the one who stared completely in shock the most was Wooyoung. His eyes were wide and his mouth opened slightly as he looked at the guy he had been waiting for the whole time. And that guy now finally looked up. "Please tell me anyone of you guys has some dry clothes that they can borrow me?" "You're late, Hyung." Wooyoung heard Jongho speaking right next to him. "Yeah, I know, sorry. But that idiot Yunho will be coming in even later-" "Someone here was waiting for you..." was all Jongho told him.
Wooyoung's eyes grew even wider as he slowly turned his head towards Jongho, looking at him like he was completely out of his mind before he turned his head back to San who was staring now at him."Huh?" was all he said.
