From Dusk To Dawn

The Rangers had slept for almost an entire day. Though after pulling a semi-all-nighter, driving five hours, climbing thousands of feet, fighting off two doppelgängers and stuffing their faces once they got back, it was understandable. The only time they woke was to grab a quick snack from the storeroom and maybe stretch a little before going back to bed.

As the Greninja and Bewear Rangers stepped into the main room, they found the Houndoom and Mandibuzz Rangers asleep on the couch together.

"Could those two be any cuter?" he gushed.

"Maybe after a full night's sleep", the Mandibuzz Ranger smiled as she opened one eye.

"Shoot, did Bewear wake you?"

"Excuse me?!" the Bewear Ranger exclaimed.

"Hey, what are you two doing up?" the Infernape Ranger smiled as he peaked out of the storeroom with some food.

"Vinnie", the Bewear Ranger smiled as the Infernape Ranger tossed each of them a fruit. "For such a little body, he's a surprisingly loud sleeper"

"Why do you think I'm out here?" the Mandibuzz Ranger laughed.

"To be with your boyfriend", the Greninja Ranger teased as he began to peel into his fruit. "Still can't believe you guys told Dusky before us."

"Well it wasn't necessarily by choice", the Houndoom Ranger replied as he began to stir as well.

"Though he did do a good job of covering for us" the Mandibuzz Ranger reminded.

"Wait", the Infernape Ranger began as he came out with some more food. "Did you guys have something to do with him being able to afford going to Toho Shores?"

"Maybe", she replied coyly.

"Well the next time you feel the need to bribe someone with an all-expenses paid vacation" the Greninja Ranger began as he took a seat on the rug, "I know a guy."

"Deal", the Mandibuzz Ranger laughed.

'Speaking of Dusky", the Infernape Ranger began "I wonder how he's holding up?"

"Well we've all been gone for a few weeks", the Bewear Ranger reminded. "So he's probably freaking out"

"I'M LITERALLY FREAKING OUT!!" the Dusk Ranger yelled as he pointed to a wall full of locations, pictures, and news clippings all connected by red string.

"No one has seen the others in two to three weeks. So I started to retrace their steps: The day I left, Gyarados Ranger was meeting with his family's lawyer. Luxray Ranger was going with him for moral support; and then they were meeting up with Silvally for the Garden festival. Later in the evening, everyone was supposed to meet up for dinner; but then BOOM! Monster attack in Waterfront Park! Bystanders reported that the Rapidash and Moltres Rangers were first on the scene, which means that they were probably on a date. Oh yeah, they're secretly dating by the way. I'm not supposed to tell anyone because it's a secret, BUT WHO CARES ANYMORE BECAUSE ALL OF MY FRIENDS ARE GONE!"

A hand immediately smacked him across the face.

"Do you really expect me to understand you when you talk that fast?" Kayla scolded. "Now try it again!"

"Yes ma'am", the Dusk Ranger apologized.

"And this time breath!" she ordered. "I won't hesitate to hit you a second time."

"Yup", the group sighed. "He's definitely freaking out!"

"Which reminds me", the Greninja Ranger sighed, "we'll probably be meeting his doppelgänger sooner or later
