About 7 hours passed and dawn was slowly breaking. The bikes were finished; but the entire calibration process ended up taking much longer than expected – especially since the Houndoom and Mandibuzz Rangers never returned to the workshop. In the end, Vinnie wasn't able to finish the supply cart. Macho and the Rangers were lucky to get 3 hours of sleep – which was only possible because Zekks jumped in at one point. Though cart or no cart, this food run had to happen.

Everyone was exhausted. By time they moved the bikes outside, Vinnie was already fast asleep – tucked into a little satchel on Macho's back.

"Thanks for stepping in last night Zekks", the Bewear Ranger offered. "The extra sleep definitely helped."

Zekks yawned loudly. "Happy to help. Besides, not like I have anything to do today," he laughed. "OH, and I mapped out the general directions Vinnie gave", he added as he handed her a map. "You'll still need Vinnie's directions as you get closer; but these should point you in the general direction while he catches some sleep."

"Speaking of", the Infernape Ranger began as he rubbed his eyes, "I wonder if Houndoom or Mandibuzz managed to get any sleep. Has anyone seen them yet?"

"We're coming", the Mandibuzz Ranger called as her and the Houndoom Ranger approached the group, oddly quiet. They looked absolutely exhausted.

"Well look who's back!", the Greninja Ranger announced. "Find what you two were looking for in the store room?", he asked with an amused look on his face.

"Yup!", Houndoom Ranger replied, quickly trying to perk up. "We a.... found the thing!"

"Really!", the Greninja Ranger replied enthusiastically as he clasped his hands together. "Although...", he scratched his chin. "I could have sworn you two went to take stock of how many empty crates we had? Not 'find something'."

"Uhhhhhhh, we did!", the Mandibuzz Ranger replied. "We FOUND how many crates we need to fill."

The Greninja Ranger's eyes narrowed as he stared at both of them for a second. "And just how many was – ", he began before getting elbowed by the Bewear Ranger.

"You two okay?", the Infernape Ranger interjected, concerned.

"Yeah...", they both replied quietly as they stared towards the ground.

"Anyway", the Bewear Ranger began, changing the subject, "I know I said doing this trip right now was our best bet; but I'm a little nervous?"

"About?", Macho asked as he handed out a bunch of bags to the Rangers.

"This!", she added as she held up her bag, "We can only carry so much back individually. I'm nervous that without a finished flatbed we won't be able to bring back enough food to sustain eight people."

"We could always do another trip tomorrow?", the Greninja Ranger offered.

"You really want to do back-to-back 600 mile round trips?

"Point", he admitted somberly.

"Actually Rangers, I was afraid it might come to this." Zekks began as he reached into his inside coat pocket. "So I figured it would be a good time to take this out of storage." After fiddling for a second, he pulled out an elaborate silver medallion with six purple embellishments and an orange gem in the middle.

"I don't think that's going to hold much", the Greninja Ranger laughed.

"Oh it won't." Zekks laughed. "Though what it can do – as outlandish as it may sound - is teleport the holder and anything they choose to a preselected geographical location. And now...", he slowly knelt down and dragged the medallion across the sand, which caused two of the six embellishments to emanate a slight glow "...that geographical location just so happens to be this canyon."
