After wandering for almost two days, the team came upon a massive string of mountains. Their hard rocky slopes reflected the sunlight in an array of colors as their peaks brushed up against the clouds. It would have been quite the relaxing view... if it wasn't for the fact that they were all dying of hunger and thirst.

"Maybe I can climb one of these mountains and... get a better sense of direction." the former Silvally Ranger proposed as she was doubled over on the ground panting.

"You're going to climb? You can barely even stand." the former Luxray Ranger muttered as he laid face down on the ground.

"Don't... tell me... what I can't do." she shot back between breaths

"Not the time to argue you two." the former Gyarados Ranger tried to remind

"Uh, guys." The former Moltres Ranger interrupted as she pointed towards a nearby rock formation. "What's that?"

"Oh great, now she's losing it too." the former Luxray Ranger again quipped - still lying face down.

"No, she's right" the former Rapidash Ranger reassured as he saw what looked to be a small hooded figure moving along the side of the canyon. Before anyone could even stop to ponder whether this figure was friend or foe, the team began to call out for help.

Upon first hearing their calls, something ruffled underneath the figure's hood before the figure jumped and quickly moved behind a rock. After a moment or so, it peaked its head out and saw the group of five. "Pe...pe...PEOPLE?!?!?!?!" It screamed before hurrying over, dragging a long bag behind it.

As the creature got closer, it was still hard to exactly make out what it was. It was just over a foot tall, and seemed to have an oddly football-shaped head beneath its hood. Another oddity that despite standing up straight, it seemed to have a hunched back. Across its face was an elaborate visor of sorts; and everything else was covered in rolls and rolls of the flowing cloak fabric. The only natural feature they could make out were small tufts of purplish fur on its face that the fabric and visor didn't cover.

"How did you? Where did you?" The creature was at a loss for words, but then composed itself upon noticing their condition. "OH MY! You must be starved!" It said as it unknotted its bag and pulled out a couple of what appeared to be fruits. "Here!" it offered as it began to hand them out one by one to the five.

The Rangers didn't think twice before biting into them. They were juicy and tasted almost like grapefruits; but they had the texture of an avocado. It was an extremely odd pairing; but after two days without food, they were thankful for this small hospitality.

As the Rangers began to eat, the creature folded up its now empty bag, lowered its hood and removed its googles, revealing a furry face with two large golden eyes and even larger ears. He took a second to fluff up his ear – which had been folded inside that hood a little too long. "Who are you?", the small figure began. "And where did you come from?"
