Imagine a world much like our own; but where Pokémon exist only in ancient mythology. It is here that 6 youths were chosen to wield their powers and become PokéRangers.

The Rangers were all at a loss for words as they saw what had become of this world's version of their friend. Until now, Xaikrou was the most monstrous of the doppelgangers; but even she had some seemingly human characteristics left to her. Aside from his voice, the giant being that stood before them was pure beast: a heavily plated therapod-looking dinosaur with a large thrashing tail, rows of jagged spines running across it's body which culminated in even larger fins and tusks as well as 2 large horns that sat asymmetrically on its head with what appeared to be a 3rd - seemingly severed - horn on the missing side.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU'VE BEEN FIGHTING THESE PAST TWO YEARS?!?!?!" the Infernape Ranger exclaimed as he stared up at the towering beast.
"He's much bigger than your stories let on" Macho stuttered.
"Eh" Dawn shrugged. "I've never been intimidated by size."
"Seriously" the Greninja Ranger began. "Cracking a joke a time like this?"
"He said hypocritically..." the Mandibuzz Ranger teased
"This cat and mouse game has gone on long enough" the beast spoke.
"Well what do you know" Dawn smiled. "First thing we've agreed upon in years!"
It was at this point that the 20-foot Colossus that had perched itself above the waterfall began to slam its appendages into the cliff side where the hideout was.
"Can you six do me a solid and take care of Mr Tentacle Tantrum over there?" Dawn began. "If the cave collapses and my tablet's destroyed, then everything I've done these past two years was for nothing!"
"On it!" the Houndoom Ranger replied as he shot towards the waterfall - the flames on his fists beginning to glow brighter than ever.
Though before the others could get far, another loud slam echoed from the other direction as the remaining two Colossi finally made their way onto the ridge.
"Same goes for those two", Dawn added.
"We got them!" the Bewear Ranger added as her and the Mandibuzz Ranger ran past Xanatar - who paid them no mind - and towards the other two Colossi.
"We'll stay and help you", the Infernape Ranger offered.
"I'll be fine" Dawn assured as she reversed the orientation of her blades and switched up her stance. "You three go help the others."
"But..." Macho pleaded.
"They'll need the help more than me" Dawn explained. "Even with my training, fighting a Colossus is tricky - one wrong move could be your last - and we've got three of them to take care of!"
"I'll go help the girls with their two" the Greninja Ranger offered.
"Good plan", the Infernape Ranger replied. "Without an ability of my own, I'd only be a liability against two of them. I'll go after the one Houndoom is facing!"
