Sans answered the door while you put on your best poker face. "mayor asgore, lady toriel." Sans greeted with a wave. "hey kid. frisk, right? saw on the news that you guys adopted a human. that's neat." Sans rambled, to which you tried not to laugh. "Howdy, Mr. Gaster, may we come in?" Sans visibly flinched at being called 'Mr. Gaster'. "sure, come on it, but.. uh.. Sans will do.. Mr. Gaster was my dad.." You watched the goat monsters come in. This was Asgore's second time being the mayor and he wasn't a bad one either, the downside was he was with the law and immediately put a ban on your and your parents profession.. "Hello, I'm Toriel, but you can just call me Tori." She greeted as she came in. "It's nice to meet you Sans.. and you must be Papyrus! Congratulations on passing the entrance exam! I'm sure you'll make a fine officer." Then she turned to you. "You must be a friend of theirs?"
"Yeah. I'm [Y/N]." You greeted. "MAYOR! MRS. MAYOR! WOULD YOU LIKE ANYTHING TO EAT OR DRINK..."🏁🏁🏁
Papyrus' voice faded off as he led the couple to the kitchen, Sans trailing behind. You and Frisk looked at one another. "Um.. hi. I'm Frisk." They greeted. "[Y/N]. Not to different from living in a human family, huh? I'd even call it better." They tilted their head. "Huh?" Context, you forgot to add context. "I was adopted by monsters too. I don't even remember my human family." Their eyes widened. "Really?"
"Really, really. I've lived with monsters my whole life. So if you're ever confused or have questions, don't be afraid to ask." They hummed, placing their finger and thumb on their chin in thought. "How does my dad have hair AND fur?!" You laughed. "Well, bossmonsters come from a human interbreeding with a goat monster to make the bosses we know today. It's simply those human genetics showing through." They tilted their head. "Just bossmonsters?"
"Have you seen any other monster with hair and fur?" You asked. "Well.. no. Um.. what's your preference on the law..?"
"Undecided." You lied immediately. "Really?! Me too! I mean, mom and dad are great, but I grew up smuggling guns and I was pretty good at it.." You huffed. "There are a lot better things you could be doing with your life than gun smuggling. You could become a lawyer or a racer or something."
"A racer?" You shrugged. "It's not my choice if you want to be law or Outlaw, it's yours. I'm simply suggesting."🏁🏁🏁
You and Frisk kept talking. They weren't bad for a fellow human. Eventually Sans and Toriel came back in. "well. you hit it off well."
"Frisk and I have a lot in common is all. They were just telling me how much happier they are with Asgore and Toriel." They nodded enthusiastically. "Get this mom! [Y/N] was raised by monsters too!" Toriel quirked a brow. "Really now?" You leaned back in the couch. "Yeah. My parents are the best. Er.. not saying that you're not, but I don't know you so I wouldn't know." Toriel giggled. "I completely understand. I'm sure your parents raised you well."
"The best they could." You agreed. "don't doubt it. what's it like, living with tori and the mayor?" Sans asked. "It's great! I can be myself and am not forced into anything I don't want to do! They are both really nice and mom loves teaching me new things. Dad and I plant flowers and take care of them." You checked the time. "That late already? Well. I better be heading home. Bye everyone! Nice meeting you, and remember Frisk, if you have any questions.."
"I can talk to you!" You finger gunned at them. "Bingo. See you around!" With a final wave, you left to eat before the next race.🏁🏁🏁
"Hey mom, dad?" The dogs looked up. ("What is it dear?")
"Is there a problem?" You shook your head. "No, no. I just.. did I ever tell you how much a really appreciate you? You guys are the best parents I could ask for.. I love you guys." Dogaressa smiled, tail wagging at lightning speed. ("We love you too, dear.") Dogamy looked about ready to cry. "And we appreciate you too." Your grin went devilish. "But I'm winning tonight."
"It's on!"
("In your dreams!")
