Sans POV
I didn't care about the damn race anymore as I floored it after the ambulance and to the hospital. It wasn't just me. A good chunk of racers were tailing me, worried for [Y/N]. I couldn't even begin to try and comprehend what was happening. Her crash mixed with Chara's, mixed with Asriel's. Chara and Asriel's was a lot worse, but still. Why was life always screwing me over like this? Chara and Asriel had been my best friends in high school. My own father murdered them. My sport became illegal. [Y/N] was my girl.. I love her, we are together! Now life was trying to take that too. Why couldn't I ever have happiness?
🤍🤍🤍
I ran in, with Dogamy, Dogaressa, Undyne, Frisk, and a few other dogs from the garage behind me. "[Y/N] [L/N], how is she doing?!"
"Just a second sir." I didn't want to wait, I wanted to track her down, see for myself. I refrained from that though. Logically speaking, that would only make things worse. "You might wanna take a seat... she was just brought in for an emergency surgery."
"just- i need- ok..." I can't lose her like I lost them..🤍🤍🤍
Chara and Asriel had been right on Sans tail, Chara's Mustang green with yellow racing stripes while Asriel's was a yellow Mustang with green racing stripes. They'd always been like that. They said it was just how close they were as sibling. They made each other whole. The sentiment was adorable and Sans would come to greatly miss that about them. Asriel had tried to hit the breaks at the intersection, but they didn't work. Chara tried theirs as well with nothing to show. It caused fear. It caused panic. It caused fatality. Chara's car slammed into a passing vehicle's and Asriel's slammed into Chara's. It caused a pile up, more cars smashing into others before they could stop. Asriel dusted on impact while Chara was alive when they were found, but died when the paramedics was trying to move them... they couldn't be revived..
🤍🤍🤍
Undyne was on the phone with Alphys outside now, The canine parents trying to comfort each other while the rest of the pack was trying to comfort them. Frisk's leg was bouncing as they sat on a chair, watching me pace. I could tell they wanted to approach me, comfort me. They weren't sure how to go about it though. I approached them first. "hey kid... how ya doin.."
"I should be asking you that." I sighed, figuring that they'd ask something like that. "i'm scared. i wanna call pap, but i don't wanna until i know if she's gonna be ok or not... i need her to be ok, kid. i can't lose anyone else." They nodded slowly, knowing what I was talking about. She's going to be ok, Sans, [Y/N] is going to be ok. I promise."
