You weren't exactly expecting to be put in the same cell Sans had been in. You could only think that it was a trap set for the skeleton to fall into and then you and Sans would both be stuck in here. "I saw your crash on the news. Good to know that you're alive, human." It was the person from the cell across from you. He... was another skeleton. "Thank you... I think..?" You walked up to the bars of your cell, to get a better look at him. He was tall, taller than Papyrus. With cracks running on either side of his face. "So... what are you, to my son?" His son? Sans? He was talking about Sans? "I..." Chara was there, again, just outside the cell, shaking their head. "... don't know what you're talking about. Who's your son?" The skeleton deadpanned. "Slow one, aren't you? He's 4'11", usually smiling, was sitting in your cell before you freed him?"
"Oh him? Yeah he's a good racing buddy is all." You replied. "So your his dad? How'd you end up here?"
"Murder." The skeleton replied simply. "The murder of the mayor's children." You stepped back. "And you're next... human.."🏁🏁🏁
Sans POV
I looked down at my mask, in thought. I growled and slipped it on, heading to the main room at Grillby's. "I want to make a deal with the mayor." I declared, making everyone stop what they were doing. "Can someone contact him and tell him to meet me back here in an hour. It's the bargain of a lifetime.." I finished. When I saw some officials start dialing on their phones, I was satisfied and went back into the back where Papyrus had heard it all. "A DEAL WITH THE MAYOR? IS THIS A GOOD IDEA?" I looked at Pap. "It's my only idea. I can't let this continue." I told him. "Besides," I continued, "if she ends up in the same place is was locked up, which is more than likely since it's the only max security prison around here, then Gaster will find her and he'll find a way to kill her, because she is close to me."
"WHO'S-"
"A man you should never EVER meet. He's the worst of the worst Papyrus. Someone who kills, thinking that he's getting something out of it."
"THAT IS... HORRIBLE.." I had to agree with that statement.🏁🏁🏁
Within an hour Asgore was there, waiting in one of the booths. I walked over and slipped in on the other side. "How is it that you aren't behind bars?" Asgore asked immediately. I chuckled. "This is Grillby's. Thats why. There is an unspoken agreement among everyone that the peace be kept at Grillby's, so long as there is no illegal dealings going on around here." Asgore nodded slowly. "What is this 'deal' of yours, Sans?" This time, I took off the mask and set it aside while I chuckled. "it's simple, really. me against your fastest law enforcer. you can choose the cars too, so you know the race isn't rigged."
"And if you win?" Asgore asked. "racing becomes legal again and [Y/N] [L/N] gets released, all charges dropped." I leaned back. "If my racer wins?"
"i'll stop street racing once and for all and come quietly. deal?" I tilted my head. "How do I know you'll keep your end?"
"i have no idea if you'll keep your end, for all either of us know, we could double cross if we wanted. but i don't want what happened to asriel and chara happen to [Y/N], so i have no choice but to trust you. i'm well aware of your trap for me at the prison." Asgore went silent. "Deal. I'll see you in a week at the top of Mt. Ebbot." So the deal was set. Please, [Y/N], hold on.1 chapter left
