Chara helped you escape, leading you to the stairwell just as police started down the hallway and to your room. You didn't stick around to see what else happened. As you traveled down the stairs, you couldn't help but ask, if you're here to warn me, why'd you make me crash?" They gave you the 'are we really doing this right now?' look. "Ok, ok I'm sorry. That wasn't a fun experience though." You made it the the second story landing before you heard the door to the first story open, a police radio squawking before the person shut it off. You and Chara had the same idea as they pointed to the door into the second story hallway. You were already pushing your way inside. "It won't be long before this place is completely swarmed with police searching for me.." You muttered to yourself, though Chara seemed to have heard you. They nodded, looking around for a plan b. They pointed to a room. "Hide? What if they search the rooms?" You asked quietly. They ran into the room anyway. "Why am I following a dead kid?" You questioned as you snuck in yourself.
🏁🏁🏁
Good news was, the room belonged to a coma patient. Bad news was you were stuck in there for the time being. "So what next?" Chara tapped the window. "Are you serious? We're still a floor up! I can't escape if I break a leg!" You whisper shouted. They blinked and went back to thinking. They glanced back at the door, walking over and peeking around the corner. They made the follow gesture. "..." It was either stay here and definitely get caught, or escape with the risk of getting caught. "I'm coming.." So out you went once more, trying to keep a lookout for more police.
🏁🏁🏁
You moved, quick and quiet as you made your way back to the stairwell. The elevator was likely less safe to be in. What if the police were waiting down there or something? You ducked into rooms if an officer passed by, getting ever closer to your destination. Finally, you made it, rushing down the last set of stairs before exiting the building through the emergency exit. You released a breath you didn't know you'd been holding before heading off to the direction of Grillby's. The streets weren't safe. It was really too bad you didn't have a car anymore. You'd have to keep to the alleys now, even then, who knew if they were crawling around there? "Chara?" The ghost was gone too. "Thanks.. I guess." You sighed and started walking. Grillby's was safe. Could lay low again, get another car when things calmed down, start up again like nothing happened.. you sighed again. "How much longer can we keep doing that before the police are constantly on alert for us?" You, Sans, the others.. mostly Sans since he was the 'father of streetracing'.
🏁🏁🏁
The alleys always took longer. All the twists and turns, of course it would take longer. But finally, you were almost home free. You made it through the final stretch, you could see the bar, it was right there! Sans, Papyrus, Grillby. They were all just across the street! Maybe if you hadn't hesitated to go, you would've made it. "Shows over Ms. [L/N]. Hands where I can see them." You froze. As a police officer entered the alley in front of you. "You won't be making it into that bar, so you might as well come quietly." How do you get out of this? The officer had a tazer, a gun, all the fancy nicknacks that you didn't. You quietly willed for Grillby to come out and save you, but nobody came. The show was over as you were cuffed and taken to the squad car, unaware of the eyelights watching from the bar in despair.

Sans POV
I didn't know why, but I knew something was wrong. I kept checking, checking for my Vixen, as if she'd just waltz right over. I doubted it... until I did see her. "[Y/N]!" I was excited to see her up and walking, but it only lasted a moment before I saw the cop. "[Y/N]! run vixen!" I wished, oh how I wished I could've went out there and got her, but things would've only gotten worse for the both of us. As I watched them take her away I decided that enough was enough. I'm getting my girl back.
