I sobbed, his jaws dropped for a second and found himself pecking my lips, then gesturing for me to sit. "I remember everything clearly, Draco, I remember every single details. The ... the Sacrificial Charm — the protection, it wore off."
He couldn't speak no more. He felt weak with every ounce of happiness. Everything came so quickly, not the way I anticipated, yet I should not be asking for more than claiming back my memories.
"Draco?" called someone from outside, voice sounding slight raspy that I didn't recognize, sounded new to me. "Are you home now?"
I didn't know how to take this, but of course months had gone by and I'm aware by sense that Draco met few more people. He didn't seem to pay attention but then the door clicked open. Don't get me wrong, I had plenty of questions like, "Wh-Who is she, Draco?" and "What's going on?" but the words wouldn't leave my mouth.
"Hey!" greeted the girl with long, brown twisted hair enthusiastically as she closes the door. "Hey," she repeated but this time it was emotionless. "H-Hi, you are the one ... the girl from the pastry shop if I remember clearly, right?" she narrowed her eyes and smiled a bit.
"Er — yeah. You look familiar. Why are you here anyways, I'm sorry? I hope I don't sound rude." I replied softly, trying to sound polite.
She chuckled satirically, "No ... why are you here? Draco care to explain this?" she made way to look at Draco, who's now standing beside me.
"Astoria, this is Aurora." he said simply. After giving Draco a confused sight, I looked back to the woman that called herself Astoria. I threw in a deep breath and unconciously leaned into the long couch, seeking some kind of support.
"I-I remember, but why is she —" Astoria's expression dropped, eyes enlarged, jaws fluttered open as she eyes on me. "This is crap. I thought she was dead? Y-You, Aurora, please leave." she shook her head in disbelief and dropped whatever she was holding as though she realized something.
"Astoria, please." said Draco. "You have no rights to make her leave. This my house and not yours. She's staying. Aurora, lovely, stay there."
"What, Draco, lovely?" she sighed. "What now?! For fuck's sake, Draco. She can't just walk back to your life like that. I made all the efforts to fix you, not for her to benefit, but for me."
"Listen, Astoria, she was —"
"I was charmed. I charmed myself to protect us, to —" I barged in.
"Silence, woman. Speak when you're asked to." she seethed and pointed her fingers at me. "Draco, you know all the sacrifices I made, to make you happy, to make you contented, to fix what was broken, to —"
"But you are not her, Astoria, never." Draco said consolingly, trying to explain calmly, as if it was out of his nature to comfort people, trying to be nice.
"But ... the wedding ... you promised." she started to cry whilst I sit here, feeling uneasy. "Draco, inside the months you're grieving, where was I?"
"You are beside me, Astoria, and to clear things, it's my parents, our parents who promised the wedding and not me, not by my choice at least." defended Draco. "Aurora, lovely, please stay there."
"See there, woman? See what you did to us? You spoiled everything!" she marched towards me as I was standing to disobey what Draco had said. With a quick motion, she restrained me in the neck, pointing her wand in my head. "Draco, you choose. Me in return of her and her child's life or us and I'll spare them?"
"Astoria, don't —"
"Don't tell me what to do now, Draco. I'm so tired of pretending. I followed all the rules, I never asked for anything that wasn't mine before, but I waited patiently for my time, but when it finally came, it was still her." Astoria muttered in my ear. "That was fucking unfair, Draco, all these years I wished nothing but you."
"Astoria, you're not in the right mind. You wouldn't want to be sent to Azkaban for killing innocent people, would you?" said Draco convincingly, trying to calm Astoria now that she's almost choking me.
"Astoria, I don't know what I did, but ... Draco and I ... we love each other. Please, leave us alone. I-I didn't take anything away from you." I can feel the loss of oxygen in my face as I'm heaving and tearing.
"Yeah? Then tell him to choose me."
"Astoria, let's talk, but not in this way. Now, let her go, please, I'm begging you. Don't hurt her." Draco got on his knees to beg but she just laughed and refused to listen.
"I-I-I can't ... please ... let go of me, I can't breathe." I pleaded, Draco was panicking as we are both unarmed. I can feel myself slowly losing my conciousness but Draco got up, pulled the wand out of her grasp triumphantly once he got the opportunity.
But it wasn't enough to stop her. With all her power, she shoved me hardly that made me drop with such force on the ground. Draco, now pointing the wand in her direction now warned her. "Leave our house, Astoria. Now."
"Just like that, Draco?"
"Draco, don't hurt her." Was what I said after all she did. I can't see him kill, no. A leak was flowing wet to where I bumped my body only to notice that "My water broke, Draco, I'm bleeding."
Both attention turned to me. Draco snapped her wand in two before giving her a glance and threw it down the floor. "Lovely, what's that supposed to mean? What should I do? You, Astoria, this is all your fault. Now, leave before I kill you myself." he got up and yelled. "Don't you understand? Can't you hear me? I said —"
"Draco, don't — argh — don't hurt her." I can feel my womb twitch and contract. I was sweating so hotly not because of the fire but because of the pressure I was feeling. Astoria was now panicking, too, looking appalled and guilty.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't ... mean to —"
"It's al-alright, Astoria."
"I didn't mean to hurt —"
"I said leave, Astoria! Don't make me repeat myself." yelled Draco infuriatedly. She took an unrecognizable object from her front pocket whilst trembling in nervousness and fear then vanished into thin air, undeniably a Portkey. "What should I do, lovely? What's happening?"
"Our baby's coming out, Draco."
