Draco and I are in the Music Room for about two hours now; waiting until the nightfall to get dressed and ready for the Yuletide Ball. I was astonished of him while he plays with the piano. He's a work of art. Narcissa and Lucius created a piece of art.

I admit, he plays piano very well. Earlier, he taught me some basic piano pieces and right now, I can see him stare at me as he gracefully plays the piano through his peripheral vision.

"I know you're staring at my beautiful face." he spoke out of the blue; causing me to cover my face with a book while I sit in a Chesterfield sofa.

"No, I'm not. I know you're self-important but there's no need to be open about it." I joked as I laugh.

The moment died when somebody knocked on the door.

"Draco!" called Narcissa from outside while Draco swiftly stood on his feet and opened the doors.

"What is up, mum?" he greeted shortly.

"Can I have a word with Aurora?" she asked as she glance to where I was sitting.

"Sure thing." Draco replied as I quickly stand from where I was sitting before he calls me. "See you later, lovely." he whispered calmly as he kisses my cheek.

-

"Draco told us all about you." she announced as we walk away, "He's so in love with you, dear, since... uhm... since you console him that night he had a nightmare, that night he was sick, at the Hospital Wing." she storied as she beams at me.

"You've raised him to be a proper man, Narcissa." I complimented, "Well, for some who doesn't know him much, they might think he's sly or whatever they call him. That's what I thought too, before, but I had the chance to know him." I acclaimed as we walk through the dark corridors of the second floor, going to Narcissa and Lucius' room.

"You know, Lucius and I used to be just like you two when we were younger. Oh, young love." she sighed as we enter their room, "I, too, love my husband so much, but when Draco came into our lives, I gave my all to him. Lucius was always busy at work. Sometimes he brings home flowers; bouquet of freshly picked flowers to compensate for the time we missed together as a married couple. But that doesn't give me enough joy." she added as she sat on their bed, "It's him and Draco that I need, and to be honest, Draco was nothing like his father. Draco never forgot to greet me in special occasions. My birthday, his father and I's wedding anniversary, New Year, Christmas, and every other occasions. He's thoughtful, you know?"

And with that, tears slowly descended down her face as she covers her eyes. I sat beside her as I pat her back.

"He certainly is, Narcissa." I muttered, "Don't cry now, please?" I added as I hug her, giving her the solace she needs right now.

"When he was a kid, he used to play alone in the garden. He wants to spend the rest of the day after his homeschooling playing with us, especially with his father but Lucius was always tired and I was busy being a wife than being a mother and I regret that." she explained as she gently wipes the tears on her face away, "I was sad to see him play with no one beside him and so I decided to buy him a dog and he named it Bailey. When Bailey came, Draco always look forward to another day, running along the kitchen, the hallways, the garden, everywhere, all day long. He was so happy until one day, some people-"

"You mean Death Eaters?" I clarified as I move an inch away from her while she nod.

"Some Death Eaters came and thought the dog is no one's property although it has a collar on, they decided to practice the three Unforgivable Curses to the poor dog. Draco saw his dog suffer and from that day, my poor son was experiencing trauma. From that day, he became cold and violent. Well, not with us but to other people around him." she continued as I meticulously listen." Tell me then, dear, you would not leave him, would you?"
