"Keep pushing!"
My stomach tightened, twitching though it still wasn't the time for my son to see the world. I heard of my own screamings without being aware of it. I breathed with closed eyes, tightly grasping Draco's hand and getting tighter by each seconds that passes.
I was pushing harder even though I’ve been doing it for almost an hour. Damn, I'm so tired. Damn it! Damn it! With each contraction came a pain that dominated my body — not only the pain of being slammed because of how hard Astoria pushed me.
The room was only the bed and four walls, here ricocheted my unknowing screams of pain. Then again, after this all I could feel was as if only sunshine existed the world.
The tears flowed down from my eyes and to Draco's, blood and water from my womanhood, but I have to be strong for my baby. I pushed hardly. My yells of painful sensations covered the whole delivery room.
"One last, lovely! I know you can do it."
One last push. I pushed.
Breath heaving.
Screaming.
Again.
The baby's cry echoed throughout the room. Despite the fatigue, I couldn’t help but smile as I saw the gaiety, happiness, and ... love in those eyes of Draco.
I did it! We did it! Though he was a month advance, he already showed us how bold he was to enter the world.
Our son is here ... He is here ...
My child was immediately laid on top of my chest, still bloody. "My son ..." Draco whispered softly, voice barely heard from its thinness. "I-I love you ..." Seeing this little and wonderful human, the pain was all worth it. It all came so fast like a strike of a lightning to the ground.
I raised my weak hand then gently embraced him lightly. I fed him while the doctor stitches me. My eyes stopped crying and just stared at my son and his father.
I looked into these new eyes of skies that he got from his daddy, new innocence of consciousness, perfect and reaching out for our love. In this instant, I knew I would do anything to protect him, for I was a mother, starting from the day I knew I was carrying him and would always be.
"Miss Forsythe, what shall we name your baby?" asked the Healer who administered my safe delivery. Draco shot me with a smile on his face whilst I pleasingly caressed his soft body. He enjoys my milk so much and that makes me so merry.
"Dylan ..." I murmured and reached for Draco's hand, waiting for his confirmation. He crouched beside me and consistently kissing my hand as his thumbs brush against the back of my palm.
"What?"
I looked at the Healer. "Dylan Thomas Forsythe-Malfoy ... That's our baby's name." Both tears of happiness and pain streamed down Draco and I's eyes as he showered me with kisses.
The Healer gave us a smile. "Such a lovely name, Miss Forsythe. Fits very well." After cleaning the paraphernalias she used, she spoke. "Mr. Malfoy, we'll just take baby Dylan for a while," she said. "Don't worry, we will take him to your room, then we will clean him and make sure he doesn't have any complications."
"Alright."
"Please take care of our son." Draco's lips pressed against Dylan's head so lightly. "Daddy loves you, Dylan ... I love you and Mum so much."
When Dylan was taken for the meantime I was blindsided by extreme weakness. Dylan, son, you and your Daddy are the first and last I'm going to get this intensely in love. I promise I will do everything for you. I will love you even wider than the universe.
