The rest of the month went by in a breeze and it'd gotten colder for everyone after every day that passed. Students went along with their day and the staff did what they did best at Hogwarts, teach.

Elizabeth still fretted over Alexia after her incident with the troll and kept up her professionalism for other students whenever they came in to talk to her.

Lavinia had more moments alone with her potions after she tried to brew the Wolfsbane potion herself in the girl's bathroom and had some visits from Moaning Myrtle who kept laughing at her many failed attempts in the past.

Calista kept visiting Hagrid as usual and volunteered to help him with whatever he needed help with at the time. Other times she's been talking to Cedric and had been planning out their holiday together.

She noticed Fred's constant flirts and stares were getting more seductive, if it were possible, but she figured he was playing around like they normally do.

Cedric knew there was something more to their flirts but he didn't want to say anything, he already tried and it was like talking to a wall.

Eventually, everything began to get covered by snow and everyone had to wear clothing that would protect them from being frozen to death.

Snowballs were being tossed around more often and during free periods, people were also making snowmen and doing other snowy activities to pass the time.

Alexia and Hermione walked the empty corridor towards the Great Hall. They passed many other students leaving Hogwarts for the holidays and slowed to a stop when they saw Draco in the distance talking to Lavinia.

They were both packed and ready to head home. Lavinia had her arms folded and idly drummed her fingers against her arm as she listened.

"Do you think she's in trouble?" Alex asked as she watched them. "Should we help her?"

"Anybody in Draco's proximity needs help," Hermione replied and smirked a bit. "But Lavinia can take care of herself."

They were jerked aside when Crabbe and Goyle shouldered past the girls as they headed towards Draco.

Alexia glared at the two and rubbed her arm while Hermione frowned in utter annoyance. Alex shook her head and faced her before gesturing towards the Great Hall, elbowing her gently. "Come on..."

Calista walked the hall with her cart and noticed Draco before smirking slyly. She rolled her eyes and shook her head as she neared him. "Bye Mouth, say hello to your father for me."

Hearing the familiar voice, Draco snarled and turned to glare at her. "You think you're being funny?" He snapped. "Calling me names and mocking my father?"

"No," she replied and stopped in her tracks to face him. "I think I'm way better than you'll ever be," she added and beamed. "Why don't you run along and cry to your daddy, eh cuz?"

"You think you're better than me?" He asked and approached her menacingly. "My parents are rich and pure, we're well known," he continued and gave her a disgusted look. "Your family isn't, thanks to your mudwallowing mother, making you and your freak sister a nobody."

Staring in stunned silence, Calista's face dropped at his sentence and felt anger at the pit of her stomach. She held back tears and idly looked towards Lavinia who narrowed her eyes at him.

"Why don't you run along and cry to your mother?" Draco mocked and smirked. "It would do us good, having one less half-blood wouldn't matter."

She looked back at Draco and glared at him while her hair turned red from her boiling rage. Totally different from her playful persona. "Don't talk about my mother like that."
