A couple more months passed and it got warmer again at Hogwarts. With exams coming in a few months, most students had forgotten about Calista's crash and talked about other things that were important at the time.
Calista never forgot her talk with Elizabeth, it had opened her eyes a bit. She thankfully got out of her funk, and went back to her normal, playful self. Well, almost.
She sat in the Hufflepuff's warm common room as she kept to herself, and slouched on a couch. She bowed her head while she listened to the chatter of her housemates.
Twigs hid inside her pocket quietly, and peeked out to observe people socializing. He saw a lot of them doing homework, playing board games, tending to some plants, sitting together, and caring for their pets.
They were having a nice time, but Calista sat out. She'd usually brainstorm her pranks, and join in on the fun.
Meanwhile, Lavinia sat on her bed cross legged, and quietly meditated. The curtains of her bed surrounded her as she wanted privacy. She tuned out some of the girls' voices, and tried to focus on herself.
The girl's dormitory or anywhere inside the common room wasn't her normal place she'd choose to meditate in, but she learned to meditate wherever and adapt while doing so.
Alexia, Harry, and Neville walked together down a corridor before she noticed Snape talking to Elizabeth again. She furrowed her brows in annoyance, and shook her head. She hated to see them together, she feared he'll manipulate her mother into doing something she doesn't want to do.
Harry and Neville followed her gaze towards them. Harry, Ron and Hermione tried to help Alexia warn Elizabeth about Snape a couple times, but she tried to convince them Snape was the good guy. She sounded so confident which annoyed Alexia deeply.
Elizabeth spent more time with other professors, and bonded with more students. She began to get to know most of them, and got better with her technique.
In her spare time, she caught herself reminiscing with Flitwick and McGonagall a lot more than usual. It was nice to talk to the staff like old friends, she was luckily getting used to it.
She grew closer towards Snape than any of the other staff members of Hogwarts, of course, but she always did deny it when students brought it up.
She even got other professors coming to see her and some of them were curious about how she does her job since they hear good things about her.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione did more research on the Philosopher's stone in the library. Alexia helped them for a while, until she had to leave after Neville and Seamus asked for her help with their Charms homework.
The trio worked together until Ron saw Calista checking out a book called, 'From Egg to Inferno: a Dragon Keeper's Guide' and it wouldn't have gotten him suspicious if he hadn't caught her hiding it.
"Ron," Hermione called and frowned at him in unamusement. "Are you even listening?"
"Yeah, I am," he snapped at her, and rolled his eyes as he looked back at Calista sauntering out of the library. "She's just acting more weird everyday."
"Who?" Harry asked as he tried to keep his voice down, and looked over towards the door.
"Callie," Ron said and sighed. "Fred and George won't shut up about her ignoring them, and I just saw her walk out with a dragon guide book."
Harry raised a brow at him. "So? What's wrong with that?"
"Dragon's are illegal to own, Harry," Hermione said. "Even for a professional."
