Christmas Holiday

It was a long ride home from Hogwarts to Kings Cross Station. Students who chose to come home for the holidays departed from the Hogwarts Express and went to their parents.

During the long ride, Lavinia sat by herself while she wrote some notes down, and did some extra reading about brewing some other advanced potions that may be useful in the future.

Draco joined her a bit later, and even apologized for whatever he thought he did wrong to make her upset with him... well tried to in his Malfoy way but either way, it was hard to tell if Lavinia forgave him or not. He complained about Calista soon after.

Alexia and Elizabeth sat together in a compartment. The two of them seemed to have fallen asleep minutes after boarding.

Calista had a long conversation with Cedric as they sat together while Hannah, Ernie, Susan, and Justin joined in. They all talked about their plans, year, and whatever else was on their mind.

The Hogwarts Express stopped at the Kings Cross station, and the occupants aboard walked off the train to get to where they needed to go.

Kieran stood beside Hestia as he watched students file out of the train, and saw how they went to reunite with their families. He heard muffled screams, and laughter through his noise cancelling earplugs.

He smiled when he watched the first years laughing as they chatted to one another, and noticed some of them looked their way.

Kieran grinned wider and waved at them warmly, making them smile back. He bounced on his heels excitedly, and looked around as he waited patiently.

Lavinia eventually stepped off the train, and noticed Kieran in the distance. She recognized his brown, curly hair. He noticed her almost immediately, and took out his earplugs, putting them in his pocket.

"Vinnie! Vinnie!" He shouted chipperly, and ran towards her, practically tackling her into a hug. "I missed you! I missed you!"

She grunted at the impact, and exhaled lowly. "Hello, Kieran."

"Tell me about Hogwarts," he said and pulled away as he bounced excitedly. "Did you make friends? Did you carve pumpkins? Who's your favorite teacher? Did you fly? Do you have a boyfriend? Did you play Quidditch?"

Lavinia stared at him blankly and saw Hestia waiting patiently with a smiling Teely beside her. "Grandmum," she called and sauntered towards her as she placed a hand on Kieran's back to walk him. "I'm back."

Hestia smiled softly at the sound of her voice and placed her hands on her shoulders. "Good, good," she replied and placed her hand on Lavinia's face. "Did you get help from Dumbledore for the potion?"

"Better, I found help from Professor Snape," she answered simply. "He's a master at potions."

"We missed you, mistress," Teely told her and smiled. "Master Kieran's improving on his writing and he tried to carve a pumpkin with your face on it. Did you know he named one of his stuffed toys after you just so he could keep talking to you?"

"Teely," Kieran whined and folded his arms. "That's a lie."

"Teely doesn't lie to her masters," she replied with wide eyes and faced Lavinia as she rubbed her hands together. "She would never!"

Lavinia hummed to herself and shook her head before looking down at Teely. She was about to say something, but stopped once she spotted Draco looking her way, and straightened out.

He approached her and gave her his smug smile. He noticed her brother and grandmother. "These must be your family," He stopped on Teely, and grimaced in disgust. "You never told me you had a house elf."
