I haven't seen James the whole day.
No, actually I haven't seen him for a week now.
He just texted me this morning.
Ang text nya ganito:

Oh ... Di bah? Parang wala lang. Parang magkikita lang kami for dinner later. Hello?! Di ba sya kinakabahan. Alam ko pretend-drama lang naman eto ... pero ... hello ... real na wedding po eto ... with real papers.... hindi ba nakakakaba?
"Eat, Francheska. Para makaligo ka na. Any minute now, the make-up artist will be here." Putol ni Mommy sa tulala moment ko.
We're already in some room at the Renaissance Hotel. Nag-order nalang si mommy ng lunch namin dito sa room. Nasa kabilang room lang sina ate, kuya Uly and the kids. I heard James and his family are already here, but I don't know what room they're in.
"Mom, have you seen James? Anong room sila?"
"You should not see your groom before the wedding. Bad luck."
"Mom, hello, 2013 na and we're not in the Philippines. And besides, this is not really real ... "
"But I think it can be real, anak. I see how James looks at you. I can see he cares for you."
"MOM!!!" I shouted. Sorry I'm being impolite. "Ganun lang talaga sa akin si James. When we were in high school, he was always caring. He is just being a good friend. A very good one ...."

While having my make up done, Michelle suddenly came into the room. Michelle, my 8-year-old niece, is my Maid of Honor and Flower Girl. 2 roles in one. Kasi naman ang dakila kong best friend ... eh may mas importante daw na gagawin para dito sa wedding ko than to be my maid of honor. What could be a more important role than being my maid of honor? Hay naku! Ewan ko sa mga yun!
