The ride from Polis to the dropship was filled with silence, and Clarke didn't blame Bellamy for being upset with the plan, but as of now it was the only one they had. To be able to defeat Christian they need to know if the mountain men are alive. If they are working with her brother, the only way to ensure everyone's survival is to end the alliance and take Christian down once and for all. To do that they need to find where the remaining mountain men are, destroy the drug, and take Christian down. If Clarke can find their new location then she could finish what she started and take out both enemies at once. And, worst case scenario, if she is taken as she was before then she could use the wolf to escape and destroy the enhancements before anyone else could get hurt. However they need to find out where Madi disappeared to find out the location where the remaining mountain men were hidden. Once they knew the location Clarke would go there to find where the hidden bunker where the remaining mountain men took shelter- If there are any survivors at all.

Clarke wants  nothing more than to be wrong. For her theory to be just that, the deep down she knew that there was truth to what she feared. And the only way to know for sure was to find the remaining survivors from Mount weather herself and finish what she started all those years ago. She finds Madi inside the camp playing with the other children. But the moment that her blue eyes find Clarke's she drops everything and runs into her arms.

"You're back!"

"It takes more than that to keep me down, you know that." Clarke kneels down and wraps her arms around Madi's back as the little grounder tosses her arms around the blondes neck.

"Are you okay?" Her little voice is muffled from Clarke's shoulder but Clarke has no trouble hearing her speak.

"I will be, but I do have to ask you something. Think you can do that for me?" Madi pulls away at that, the grounder child peering into her God mother's eyes as she wipes the little ones tears away. "I know you don't remember everything about that day. But do you think you could describe where you were before you disappeared? This is very important Madi, and I need you to try your hardest to remember."

"But why? Clarke what's going on?" Clarke's thumb brushes gently against Madi's cheek as she tries to put on the smile.

"I'll explain everything later, I promise. But right now I need you to tell me everything you remember, okay? Every detail."

Madi sighs as her feet kick at the dirt around her shoes, her brow furrowed she concentrates. It's been months since she returned, and while Clarke knew that Madi didn't remember, any small detail would give her a direction to go towards. The landmarks and rock formations the child described sounded familiar to Clarke, and while she didn't know where exactly it was Madi disappeared from, she knew it was near their cabin between Trikur and Skaikru lands. With a direction in mind Clarke embraces the little grounder and nudges her to play with the others while Clarke finds Bellamy and the others to tell them what she knows.

"So it was near the cabin?" Bellamy questions, his arms crossed over his chest as his brows knit together in thought. "But we searched everywhere in that area and didn't find her."

"The Mountain men stay hidden below ground. They could have a bunker nearby where we couldn't see." Clarke reasons. "I've been there before, but it was only once."

"So could you find where Madi went?" The younger Blake asks.

"I can. But it would take time."

"Okay, let's just think about this first." Bellamy interrupts. "Say you do find this bunker or whatever the hell these people are staying in. What then? You can't exactly knock on their front door. And even if you do get inside we have no way of knowing if you're safe or where you are, Princess. Anything can happen from the time you get there to when you leave."
