Tom POV

Tom was pissed. Absolutely pissed. Magic children were revered in the wizarding world, both as the future magic and because the birth rate had been declining over the past years. Every year less and less children were being born to magical families.

Most families only had one or two children with some like the Weaslys being lucky and having several. But now within a week of each other, Tom had saved two magical children who were being abused. One of whom was "The Golden Boy" and Tom's mate. Tom was shaken out of his thoughts when Cissa entered the study. Lupin and Black had been talking quietly to each other before but now both were silent until Cissa was seated. Before Tom could say anything Harry's father spoke.

"What happened to Harry? I mean I'm glad we found him but why is he here?" Sirius asked.

Tom felt anger welling up as he thought about what happened. He stood from where he had been sitting by the fire and walked over to one of the floor to ceiling windows.

"Cissa, would you mind explaining to them?" Tom asked while staring out over the forest.

Tom watched from the window as thestrals flew above the forest while Cissa explained how they had found his mate. How he had almost died and was still recovering. How they had found out who he was and what Dumbledick had done to him. What had happened with everything.

Tom found himself crying silent tears as she explained what happened. His poor mate. He hadn't been there to protect him before but never again would Tom let that happen. As Cissa finished explaining, Tom turned back to the three of them seeing Remus crying in Sirius' lap and Narcissa looking down with tears dripping from her face.

"We need to get rid of the meddling old coot. He has caused too much damage and needs to pay." Tom said sharply.

"Can you do it? Can you kill him?" Remus whispered.

Tom thought for a moment, "Yes, the problem is the people support him and I won't kill innocents who have been tricked into following his delusions."

They were all silent for a moment, "What if we could turn the crowd against him? Even better if we could get them to support you at the same time. Introduce you as Thomas Slytherin, lost heir to Salazar and then you expose him using the evidence we have. And I'm sure if there is one student who has asked about staying at Hogwarts then there are more. Hogwarts used to be a safe haven and a student could call sanctuary there so they couldn't be forced to leave. It seems that knowledge has been hidden from those who need it." Narciss said, looking at Tom.

Tom thought about it, he had never heard of being able to call sanctuary at Hogwarts but it made sense. The founders would have wanted to be able to keep their students safe.

"That plan might actually work. Narcissa I want you to look more into that. Remus, Sirius. I want you guys to inform me the moment the Order finds Harry and his relatives are gone. Narcissa I also want you to find the boy that helped Harry, his cousin I believe. Find his and take care of him, he has evidence that can be used." Tom was saying, but before he could go further a knock sounded throughout the room.

Tom dropped the silencing wards around the room and strided over to the door, opening it to find the little house elf Tinsel, Neville and his mate.

Harry smiled at him before asking, "Can I show Neville the gardens and the greenhouses? I think it might make him feel a little better."

Tom looked over at the Longbottom heir and could detect faint tremors from him. He smiled and met Harry's eyes.

"Of course, Love. Tinsel can show you both around and keep you safe. Although I'm sure Mr. Longbottom will know which plants not to mess with. The only one that you shouldn't go in is the one farthest from the house, near the forest. That's Severus' personal one and you'll need to ask him to go in there." Tom answered.

"Perfect! Thank you, Tom." Harry said before grabbing Neville's hand and heading down the hall with the house elf following.

Tom smiled after him before turning back to the other three. "Remus," before Tom could continue Sirius yelped and jumped off of his seat. Quickly he pulled a coin out of his pocket and tossed it to the floor.

Remus only sighed before saying, "He's calling a meeting. We have to go."

Tom narrowed his eyes at the heated coin, "Fine but be safe. When you have the chance, let Severus know what is going on. He left for home a while ago to be with his mate. But I'm hoping he was able to start brewing a couple more potions for Harry as well." He turned to Narcissa, "Have Lucius help you work out details and get back to me as soon as you have a plan. Dismissed."

Cissa bowed to him before apperating away. Sirius and Remus stayed a moment more.

"Let Harry know we will be back tonight." Remus asked.

Tom only nodded before watching them also leave. After they were gone Tom went over to his desk to work on some paperwork that had been piling up. He never thought being the Dark Lord would mean so much paperwork.
