POV Switch - Harry's POV

Harry finished crying while his sister and friend just sat with him in silence to let him get it all out. Eventually Harry started to feel better about everything and looked up at Lyra. "Thanks guys." Harry said quietly. Before either of them could answer Harry back there was a pop sound and Tinsel was standing in front of them.

"Little Master is needing to drink lots to rehydrated the Little Master's body."

Tinsel hands all three of them steaming mugs full of a golden liquid. "It's honey and mint tea."

Harry smiles at the elf before she pops away again, taking a sip of the tea and finding it amazing. The three of them sit in silence for a moment before Lyra says something. "I knew you needed help, I wish I could have done something, anything. I knew from first year but that bastard threatened to kill my parents if I told anyone and he had me under so many loyalty potions it made my brain fuzzy constantly." Lyra smiled, "But now that they are gone from my system I can think so much clearer now and it feels amazing. I'm sorry I couldn't help. I tried to in my own way."

Harry smiled at his sister, "I know you did Lyra. Neville tried to help me as much as he could as well." Harry leaned against the shy boy and cuddled with him for a moment. A sudden growling startled all three of the teenagers. Looking up quickly Harry locked eyes with Tom and calmed before realizing why his mate had just scared the living magic out of them.

Quickly Harry was up and in a few short steps in front of Tom. His mate didn't want to look at him, he just wanted to keep staring down one of Harry's best friends. But Harry placed his hands on either side of Tom's head and turned him to meet his own eyes. Harry could tell that Tom's demonic side was pushing through cause his eyes were much darker then normal and his teeth were sharper. Making a cooing noise at his mate, Harry got him to focus only on him and Harry started rubbing his head on Tom's chest being mindful of his small antlers. Harry could feel his mate purring again, feeling the vibrations through his chest. After a moment of this Harry stepped back to check on Tom, still holding Tom's face.

His mate's eyes were back to his normal beautiful color that Harry already loved so much. "Neville is my brother, Tom. In everything but blood."

Tom only hummed before burying his nose back into Harry's hair taking in a deep breath. Harry giggled before turning to look at his sister and best friend while still in Tom's arms. Harry wanted to ask Lyra a question, "Lyra?" The girl hummed in response and focused on her brother. "When you got your test done and all the potions shit removed, did it say anything about your age? Cause I know you're older than me but somehow we seemed to be the same age."

A startled look crossed over her face, "I... I have no idea. Technically I am older than you by a little over three years but I don't remember anything about that on my test. I should go ask Rem- I mean mom, about it." A contemplative look came over her as she stood. She started walking out of the greenhouse before turning back to the others.

"Neville. Do you want to come with me?" The gryffindor smiled and stood to follow. Harry snapped his fingers to summon Tinsel.

"Tinsel, will you help Lyra and Neville find our parents?" With a smile and a floppy eared nod, the small house elf walked over and led both of them out of the greenhouse.

Harry turned back to his mate who had been silently watching with his arms wrapped firmly around the smaller male. "Did you need something, Tom?"

Harry watched a small smile form on his lips before Tom replied, "I had Narcissa find your cousin. The one who basically saved your life by writing a letter for help. He's here now in the manor if you would like to see him."

Harry lit up. He and his cousin had grown close since the encounter with the dementors in his first year when he was still only 13. "Can you take me to him?"

Tom chuckled and the vibrations made Harry want to purr again. Before he could however, Tom had swept his legs out from under him and was now holding Harry in a bridle style. Harry blushed, making his whole face red, he could feel the muscles under the robe Tom was wearing but before Harry could think too much about it, a deep voice whispered in his ears, "Hang on." Then Harry felt the twisting that accompanied apparition and with a slight cracking sound, Harry and his mate vanished from the greenhouse.

AAAAAHHHH! I'm not dead! (Yet) College is absolutely kicking my trash and to make it worse, Ive been struggling with major depression and anxiety. Therefore that means a slightly shorter chapter then I would normally post. But I'm feeling much better now so hopefully I'll be able to update more often. I have a challenge for you guys! If you can get 10 votes on this chapter by the 23rd (04/23/22) then I'll promise to post an extra long chapter next time.
