Life becomes more meaningful when you realize the simple fact that you'll never get the same moment twice.

Sky was humming a song to herself while doodling on a spare piece of parchment. Nicole turned sideways and gave her a look, whispering, "Slughorn's looking, make the potion! "
"It says here to leave it for seven minutes to steam." Sky whispered back.
"You've been sitting idly for sixteen minutes."
The blonde blinked and checked her watch. "Oh, crap. I have. Thanks Nicky." She stirred her potion hurriedly, and the brunette chuckled. "Ugh, the dungeons make me sleepy." Sky complained.
"I just get really creeped out by dungeons and can't even think of sleep." Nicole shuddered. "Boy, am I glad I'm not in Slytherin. Their common rooms are quite literally underground."
"Have you ever been there?" Sky asked, interested.
Nicole shook her head. "No, but I know that its under the Black Lake."
"Salazar Slytherin is one dodgy guy." The blonde shrugged. "Do you know that you have to tickle the pear to get in the kitchen?"
"I don't know why you're so bothered by that. You've told me that three times, already! "
Sky shrugged. "It just sounds weird."
"Miss Greene and Miss Jordan." Slughorn called out and the two girls looked up, startled. "Since the pair of you are so interested in talking, how about you answer my question?"
"That makes literally no sense." Sky mumbled. "Uh, fluxweed?"
"Do you even know what the question is?! " Nicole whisper-yelled.
Slughorn looked rather shocked. "That... is correct."
Sky and Nicole gasped silently. "I'm a genius." The blonde cheered.
"That was luck."
Sky pushed her fingers in her ear. "Mhm, can't hear you! Too busy celebrating my genius-ness."
Nicole rolled her eyes playfully, smiling at Sky's goofiness. It was not very usual that the blonde girl decided to be cheerful and not be broody, hating the entire world for whatever reason. "Stop looking at me like that Nic, I know what you're thinking."
"Shut up and make your potion, Greene." Nicole grinned.
