Shaw's Love (Deckard Shaw X O.C)

Chapter Twelve

(Your P.O.V)

"Decks...?" I asked the person who opened the hospital door, I couldn't believe it. He was here, albeit in handcuffs but here. Immediately I started crying, my body is very exhausted and I'm still going to be hormonal for a while. A guard uncuffed him and told him to stay in the room and closed the door, and when he did, Deckard went immediately to my side and sat on my hospital bed and I was tucked into his side as I cried. Being able to hold him was unbelievable for me, I never imagined this could happen. He then kissed my head before getting up and kissing his Mother's cheek and then looking at our son. "Our little boy." I told him and he laughed and I saw some tears forming in his eyes, I knew he wanted to have a son and raise him better than how his Dad raised him and his siblings. 

Magdalene then gently handed our boy to Deckard and Decks was shaking but had this bright smile on his face as he looked at him. "Hi bud, I'm your Dad. I doubt you'll remember this but I hope you know me someday." He whispered softly to the baby and it broke my heart to see my husband telling our newborn son that he wishes that he would know about Deckard. "Don't worry, he'll know you." I reassured him and Deckard looked at me and nodded thankfully. "What's his name?" Magdalene asked us and I smiled as did Deckard, we decided names before he went to prison. "Marshall Emmett Shaw." I announced and Magdalene smiled as did I and Deckard, it fit him perfectly. 

Tessa won't be here with the girls until tomorrow, she wanted me to have some rest after the birth before being bombarded by my daughters. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and when it opened there was Mr. Nobody and Brian with Mia. "Congratulations on your baby you two." Mr. Nobody said and I still glared at him, I still didn't trust him after threatening our children. "Mr. Shaw, I'm afraid it's time to go." He said and I felt saddened, he couldn't stay forever and I knew that but I didn't want to lose him. Mia and Brian were quiet which was fine for now, they were watching how this would pan out. Deckard nodded and stopped up carefully with Marshall in his arms, he gently handed me our son and kissed his forehead. "I love you Marshall, more than you could ever know." He whispered and then we had a soft kiss, one that I haven't had in a long time. When we parted, he planted another kiss on my forehead. "And I love you Anna, nothing will change that." He told me and let the guards take him away after he gave his Mother a goodbye of course. 

Mr. Nobody then left the room and Mia and Brian came closer, it was the first time since I've seen Mia in years and she's gotten very skinny, like you could see her bones and so I was worried. "Congratulations on the baby Anna, Brian told me that you have two other kids?" Mia said and I nodded. "Yes two girls, Marshall's our little boy. And besides, I heard you two have a kid or two of your own." I remarked and Mia stiffly nodded her head, she was going to be like that isn't she. "We do, we have Jack and our little girl who will be born soon." Mia said and I smiled at her, while she may be boney, she had a slight belly growing so I guess Mia wasn't that far along in her pregnancy. 

Finally I was done with avoiding the topic and I needed to address this at once. "I'm sorry, about what happened during Rio. But I couldn't leave to help you guys and even if I could, I wasn't risking being on the run and away from my daughter and husband." I told Mia and she looked at me and instead of being understanding, she was glaring at me, great just what I predicted. "No, I don't believe you, you just wanted to pretend that we weren't important to you." She remarked and Brian couldn't believe what Mia had said, guess Brian forgot she can hold grudges for years. "Do you want to know something Miss?" Magdalene asked Mia who looked over and saw my Mother-in-Law there, Mia nodded and I teared up, this was something I didn't feel comfortable remembering ever again. 

"Anna was barely alive during her first pregnancy, I mean she was paler than a ghost, barely was able to eat. She was I.V nourished because she couldn't keep food down, nearly miscarried twice and the worst part was when we though she would have to terminate after the second close call, and all of that happened not long after she was told she was pregnant." Magdalene told them and Brian and Mia were shocked at what I had gone through for Pia. "And when you called her that day, she was in a hospital bed barely able to move and you expected her to go to Rio and help you?" Magdalene told them and Brian walked over and hugged me and I released some tears, Mia was now thinking about something as she looked at me and Brian. Marshall was getting fussy which meant it was time for trying to breast feed, I wasn't able to do it with Pia but was with Luna so I wonder which way this was going to go. "She wanted to help you guys, but she was conflicted based on how you treated her in the past. Think about what you're going to say if you want to be in her life." Magdalene told Mia and with that she got up and helped me try and nurse Marshall. Brian moved away and looked away since my breasts were out in the open, I wasn't ashamed to hide my boobs while I'm heading my kid but I understood where he's coming from. 

Marshall latched on and began feeding which made me smile. "I'm sorry." Mia said suddenly and I looked up and saw her face, she held a lot of remorse onto her face and I nodded. "It'll take sometime before I could fully forgive you, but I do want you guys to be a part of my family, I always have. It hurt me not to have you guys at my wedding but you weren't even talking to me, weren't even answering my calls so I thought you didn't want anything to do with me anymore." I told her and she nodded and walked over and hugged me, it felt nice to reconnect with Mia after all this time and I can only hope that things will get better in time.

Authors opinion: hey guys, I know that this has been a while since I last posted, my fault but I've just been dealing with a crap ton of stress from school so that's why I haven't posted on this story. But I haven't forgotten you guys, but just give me sometime before the next chapter as I have to get the eighth movie so I can work on this for you guys. Also I won't be posting April 5th-9th as I'll be in Florida for my senior trip to Disney and Universal, so I'll be having fun in the Florida sun for those days but I'll get right back to work on the 10th. Either way I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and until the next time bye
