Chapter 21

Y/N searched around the area frantically with his eyes, searching for the youngest. The area was slowly getting crowded due to the firework's show's schedule getting closer.

Where could she have gone to? I took my eyes off of her for a few seconds and she's already gone?

"Y/N? Where's Yuri?" Eunbi started panicking, as her breath was getting shorter. The thought of Yuri being kidnapped made her react in such a way. Y/N immediately held both of her shoulders, making her startled.

"She'll be fine! Trust me, Noona. I know she will." He stared straight into her eyes, assuring her that her sister would be alright. The other two just stood there, unsure of what to actually do at a time such as this.

"R-Right. But first, can you...?" She eyes both of his hands, implying for him to let go of his hand.

"O-Oh. Sorry." He said, letting go of his grip.

"What should we do, Y/N?" Eunbi asked.

"Let's split up. I'll be fine by myself, but you three need to stay together, okay? Keep your hands together and make sure to never let go of each other." Not wasting any time, the group dispersed and started searching for Yuri.

"Oppa?" Yuri called out, being lost in the middle of the crowd after having been attracted to the stalls which she was interested in.

Yuri was slowly getting dizzy, feeling uncomfortable at the amount of people that's nearby, making her feel as if she was confined in a closed space.

I... I need to get out of here.

She thought to herself, walking away from the scene and kept an eye out for anything she could hide in. She eventually reached the trees which were nearby. She immediately went and sat under it, resting herself down.

Wh-where is everyone...?

Her head felt light, as if she wanted to black out. Despite that, she kept her gaze fixed on the crowd, looking for any sign of her sisters or Y/N. Yuri took a deep breath and gathered all of her courage.

"Y/N-oppa!!!" She yelled out as loudly as she could. "Oppa! I'm here!"

But it was in vain. Nobody heard her except for a few strangers who gave her strange looks.

Yuri's face drooped as she felt defeated by her own clumsiness. She had the feeling that she would be alone now, that no one would come to her help.

That is, until she heard her name called out.

"Yuri-ya!!! Yuri!!" Her ears tweaked having heard a familiar voice calling out for her name.

That's oppa's voice!

"O-oppa!! Y/N oppa!!!" She called him once again, hoping that her voice would be heard.

A frantic-looking man was braving the crowd a little further away from her. While looking for Yuri, Y/N overheard someone yelling his name.

"Yuri-ya!?"

Y/N began to follow the source of the voice. His breathing became heavier, and his heart began to beat faster. The closer he got, the more he became sure that it was indeed Yuri's voice.

He dashed through the crowd to the voice. Soon after, he noticed a girl sitting under a tree, looking scared and lonely while hugging her legs. Y/N recognised her as Yuri in an instant.

"Yuri-ya!" He ran to her.

"Oppa!" Yuri pushed herself off the ground before running towards Y/N.

They collided into each other's bodies. Yuri was wrapped in Y/N's arms. He was relieved to find her safe and sound.
